To new users, What are you struggling to learn?

A question for the new users,

What are you finding is your biggest struggle to learn? What questions do you have now in the beginning of your learning about cryptocurrency?

If there was something you could say you have problems learning or understanding most in your learning process, what would you say it is? Why is that a struggle for you? Do you see multiple people lacking understanding of the same stuff?

What do you think could help you solve those issues? What might you have tried so far?

I see a large repetition of certain things on the Beginners & Help section, and I'm just wondering which ones new users really struggle to learn and why, maybe something can be said or done to help reduce the frustrations from new users having issues learning or understanding certain things about crypto/ what to do with or how to use properly. So lets hear it, whats hardest for you and what are you stuck on?

From my overview the main newbie problem is the language barrier. This is a bit of a bummer if you what to learn the crypo in details. Nowadays everything is in English, people have to accept it that if you don't learnt it, big part of the "world" will be hidden for you.
This should be the step 1.
Sure you can find a lot info translated in the local sections but still, the main info stream is in English.

The major newbie problem is lack of patience(get rich quick scheme), it's apparent that the cause of this is lack of proper orientation..
Most users were introduced to the forum by individuals who laid a poor foundation for them, and let them loose on a plaguing mission to spam the forum with 10 alt accounts all in the name of earning higher bucks from signature campaigns..

With the right orientation and proper training on the issue of patience,most noobs won't be finding it difficult to earn one elusive merit,thats is standing as a barrier right now to most of their initial ambitions....

It's basically a step by step process,and until one learns that, he/she will continue struggle on the forum,either to get merits,to complete weekly task(due to 0 knowledge),to contribute in quality discussions,to start up quality/eye catchy topics ETC

How to solved any newbie problems? Those newbies just need to stay focus on what's their goal and eventually they will learned. I became a newbie too but not to the point that I will asked some "basic questions" on which the answer can be found right infront of us. They just have to "TRUST THE PROCESS" and don't make things complicated. Continue to move forward and soon they will be used to it.

If you are considering cryptocurrency in general, I would say newbies have a long lists of things to learn, (that's why they are called newbies) and you never stop learning as there is always more knowledge to acquire.

Newbies, or new members should start by familiarizing with the forum and how to effectively be a (useful) part of the community.

In addition to language and impatience barrier already stated, another limitation to growth in the forum and conversely in cryptocurrency is misplaced priorities.
This is one of the reasons, newbies are the most banned accounts rank on the forum.
Focus on learning and growing, then you actually have something worthwhile to give out

For me is not about what I struggle to learn, is finding the time to absorb all the information that's relevant to my work.
The forum is really helpful and enjoy reading it, but the real learning struggle for me is how to manage time better.
I like writing training materials for various projects and that is so time-consuming, let alone the fact that I must thoroughly understand the technical information before presenting it to others.
So, to sum up, my learning struggles are: time management and keeping up with all the technical terms.

There's so much information over the internet that I honestly don't know how people could find difficulty in starting out. I agree with iasenko that it's mostly just the language barrier, as not all countries are using english, not even as a secondary or tertiary language.

With people that are starting out, I personally always suggest reading Coindesk's A Beginner's Guide to Blockchain Technology as the articles listed should be enough for the basics.

About forum: how to earned, how to do bounty, how to ranked up etc.

As a newcomer, I find it hard to know which websites to trust.
I understand the basics of cryptocoins and blockchain, but would like to get a deeper knowledge. Does anyone have ideas on certain books that could help with that?

As I said, the most difficult thing is choosing out the correct broker or exchange to trust my money with. Don't want to get ripped off.

PS: got an online wallet now, but can anyone recommend a good offline one? Exodus for example?

Take a look at the following  thread to see the different types of available wallets and their advantages/disadvantages: Bitcoin Wallets - Which, what, why?. I personally prefer hardware wallets such as Ledger Nanos S (although it costs around 100$/100€ now).

I haven’t taken a look at Exodus before. I don’t know why you consider it an off-line solution. It’s a software wallet, and as such, much more vulnerable than a hardware wallet (even their support page states it to make it crystal clear - https://support.exodus.io/article/45-can-exodus-safely-store-large-amounts).

Struggling to learn on how to contribute in the forum for newbies as there are lots of topics been discussed in bitcointalk so the more you ask with the same question then experienced crypto enthusiast would only provide a link to the previous thread with the same topic asked and answer by professionals in here. So the best thing newbies to do is accept criticism from professionals and learn at the same time.

Do you think users struggle to understand the basics because the information isn't readily available to them in their language? Do you believe users would benefit from informative guides on the basics and main information guides out there but in their particular languages?

What types of languages do you see most often requested or lacking translation of crypto basics?

So you don't see users that may be english natives, or know english fluently, having issues learning about crypto in general? What would you say english users have problems learning understanding?

When one is new on board,be it on this forum,at a workplace or in a new environment,you tend to take time to come to grasp with all the nuances involved..
So noobs on this forum have lots of problems ranging from coming up with something quality,understanding forum rules,trading skills/techniques e.t.c
But with time, those who put in efforts actually do learn all there is to learn

Merits and weekly tasks, etc. are more directly related to users of this form, i mean users in general of all of crypto. So if you were to expand beyond the scope of users spamming this form for merits what would you say is there motive behind doing so?

Lack of orientation, meaning what? What to you is a poor foundation, and what do you define as a good foundation for users that they should have? Do you think this ideal foundation is easy to learn and grasp, or is the information spread all over the place obscure and requiring lots of searching?

Can you remember a road block you had in your learning process, or maybe one you even have now? What did/are you trying to get through it? Why was it difficult and a road block for you?

Tell me more about what you believe is "misplaced priorities" that new users have. Expand beyond the scope of just this forum and signature campaigns, there are much, much better opportunities to legitimately earn income with crypto, than slaving over signature campaigns. So expanding beyond this forum to all beginning users of crypto, What do you believe they are prioritizing that is "misplaced". What do you believe are the correct priorities for new users? Why?

With the wealth of information available on the internet, what do you find difficult about figuring out what is the correct broker or exchange to use? Why is it difficult for you? What have you tried to solve this problem?

Many people have posted or recommended many different types of wallets, exchanges, and all the like here on this form or all over the internet, so as a user thats asking that same question that seems to have been answered many times by others, what makes you feel your question hasn't been answered yet? What leaves you feeling that the information out there just isnt giving you the result youre looking for? Are you looking for a certain thing to make you confident in the solution your seeking that you havent found yet? Or is your issue more time/search related? (Not wanting/having the time to spend searching for the answers scoured all over the web/forums)
What would you say is holding you back or isnt solving your problems? Why?

What other questions would you say you have in regards to crypto, the most pressing ones for you? Why?

What road blocks have you hit and what did you do to get through them? Why do you think you got stuck on those things?

What deeper knowledge are you seeking exactly? What are your goals and what do you hope to learn most importantly? Why are those your goals, what do you hope to achieve with those things?

Why do you think new users care so much about these things? What makes new users so curious about merit, bountys, ranking up, etc..?

What do you think is the primary goal of new users or even most users in general? What are your own goals? What do you hope to achieve through accomplishing those goals? 

Whats stopping you or currently in your way to achieving the things you're hoping for?

One of the big problem as a noobie Is that there is so much to learn and I don't know what is a good question to sak and I don't want to look stupid...I'm my experience even though u ask a not so good question u will hopefully learn what u r looking for ...once u stop asking questions good or bad u will stop learning and there is so much to learn on this forum

To understand something you need to have a proper information. If you are not fluent in English and you try to find this information in your native language you have to be sure that it's a credible source. In this sea of information you need to find the right sources.

For example, Bulgarian. Even tho the bitcon is very popular in Bulgaria, to find detailed/technical info is almost impossible, most of the links redirect you to external English sources.

I say that English speakers have a higher change to get quality information in wider specter then the other.
Remember that the Bitcoin Whiter paper was written in English.

It was back in 2009, when the bitcoin hit the first news, a buddy of mine came to me and said, there's a new digital currency and sounds interesting. I just quick looked at it, but it looked too complicated, so I just gave it up until 2013, when another friend stated mining, then I joined too, and then I stated reading.

I'm literally new to this forum, as well as the world of cryptocurrency, and I find it hard to find someone who will really help me understand it better. I joined this forum because my friends kept on talking about it whenever we meet so after doing a few research, I joined this forum to hopefully learn about this bitcoin my friends are so obsessed about. Unfortunately, it's challenging to find where and how to start because there are so many threads here even if you try to search for something. It's also quite hard to learn about cryptocurrency for someone like me who's just beginning to learn about it because there are so much you can find here that I don't know where to start. Cryptocurrency and blockchain are complicated as it is. It doesn't help that you don't really know where and how to start.
