I see no reason to compare such projects, which today have a huge role in the life of the whole cryptocurrency community, I think that today we really need to invest in not comparing.
I think these two coins have different developments so it doesn't matter if anyone compares ethereum with EOS, but if EOS is compared to Ethereum I think that will make EOS lose heavily.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

It is too early to draw conclusions. In general, I think that in the future the Cardano blockchain will seriously compete with ethereum and EOS projects. I think that many blockchains have enough space in the world.
Okay, okay ...But they must to finish the development firstly  Grin As I see this is hard for their team. ETH is #1. Can you find something like makerdao or unicornswap somewhere else?

No way for EOS to beat ETH.
ETH is supported by much more projects, people and companies.
As well a blockchain of ETH is developed much better than EOS (IMHO)
But, will be nice to see EOS around 20$ this year.

we will only know which is better in the future, but I think EOS is a strong competitor of ETH because EOS seems to have enough potential to beat ETH because EOS provides new innovations that ETH does not have.

Hello guys. On the previous week Vitaly founder of ethereum announced ethereum 2.0 with faster transactions and so on. Do you think our old friend ethereum can defeat a very promising EOS? Or EOS is soon going to be crypto number 2 instead of ethereum?
EOS Vs ETH is a topic that many people care about and have many different opinions. But I think both have its own power and it has a community and its own field.
ETH is a "grandfather" of power and is currently trusted and concerned by many investors.
EOS is a "energetic guy" who has a lot of plans to thrive but is having a lot of problems when he wants to grow big.
In my opinion, EOS is still not comparable to ETH. ETH has been a long-standing symbol and it is always respected and trusted by many investors.
EOS is just a talented guy and needs time to prove his strength. Grin

I think that at the moment it is pretty clear. Ethereum is back to the top and EOS is slowly moving to take the third spot away from XRP. I mean Ether is the most trusted altcoin at the moment and it does not make any sense to compare them now.

You say that EOS is better than ETH, EOS is included in the big 5 coins. Whereas ETH is included in the big 2 coins. So, in terms of top marketcap, it is clear that ETH is superior to EOS.

I actually noticed that Ethereum scalability is higher now and also there are other added freebies like the automatic gas limit for any transaction. I believe the Ether team are really working hard to maintain their position as noted by recent overtaken of XRP. I affirm that Ethereum will still lead behind Bitcoin despite the efforts of EOS.

How come neither has crosschain interoperabilities or ipfs capabilities? Moac happens to have these along with the option for developers to choose which consensus they want for the dapp. Pretty impressive if you ask me.

ethereum is definitely the winner. Even though ethereum is still difficult to return to its ideal price, we cannot forget the potential that ethereum has. EOS may be good but their platform is still less popular than ethereum. so it takes longer for eos to defeat ethereum.

The IOHK team is perfectly developing its platform. They move according to their roadmap. Last year smart contracts were launched in testnet. Blockchain Cardano has been running since the fall of 2017. In the coming months there will be a global update of the platform.

Although the electability of ETH is reduced due to many scams projects using ETH platform. But, ETH is a reliable platform and has high scalability. this makes EOS will difficult to replace ETH.

I don't think that ethereum will be able to surprise us with something. I think his time already has passed. I studied EOS technology and I like the fact that the team follows the plan and realizes that promised.
I think your opinion is wrong because ethereum is still in great demand for the development of ico now and in the future, this shows that the popularity of ETH is greater than EOS, as well as the use of these two platforms that have very far differences, and in my opinion ETH is still a favorite

Why would you compare ethereum with EOS in the first place... you should be comparing ethereum with xrp instead just like other shitcoins .. EOS is yet to prove itself

Ethereum has a big number of popularity, therefore it's trading volume, its features, platforms everything are bigger than EOS. EOS is a promising coin and its technology is so high. But I think EOS will not overcome ETH's position. I would love to see EOS takes Ripple's place. That will be enough for EOS.

Well it depends what you want to sacrifice decentralization or transaction speed because one the other is explicitly better at one not both but I know Moac is a platform that makes sure it it optimized on both fronts. There might be others that are in the works but haven't launched yet too.

if I think the winner is ETH, because EOS ranking is far below ETH and to beat ETH, EOS must beat Ripple first and for now I think EOS is still difficult to beat Ripple, so to beat ETH is also very difficult for now, therefore I think ETH still wins against EOS.

In terms of faster transaction, ethereum has the fastest transaction rate. I don't know much about EOS, but comparing the transaction rate of bitcoin which is the number one crypto coin, Ethereum has the faster rate.  Also comparing the market cap and volume  of both Ethereum and EOS, Ethereum is winning over EOS.

They love to, that's the main reason why they have been doing that. And everyone must stop this kind of comparisons because it is just dividing the community between the A coin and B coin. With this comparison, people will always support the coin that they held and they don't want to hear or read such negative comments about it.
Why? they are holding it and negative means negativity to their investments.
