Total network: 18gh
Total 1gh: 17gh

1gh own heavy coin ? I remember it happen to max coin also where 1gh has more than 70% network hash 90% of the time. On the other hand , we don't have to worry about 51% attack because 1gh basically own the whole heavy coin network , why would they attack themselves ?

heavy coin should be advertise as decentralized coin reward , centralized mining while most coin are centralized  block reward decentralized mining. Sounds about right

I want to compile wallet for linux (opensuse 13.1). In heavycoin-master/doc/readme-qt.rst describes how to compile for ubuntu. But I don't understand when get the follow packages for my OS:

Code:
install qt4-qmake libqt4-dev build-essential libboost-dev libboost-system-dev libboost-filesystem-dev libboost-program-options-dev libboost-thread-dev libssl-dev libdb++-dev libminiupnpc-dev

HELP, PLEASE!

Yea. They have to resolve this now. It's really discouraging.

1gh need shutdown for a while, let hashs turn into other pools/
Too drastic. But if 1gh were to start raising their fees, that might do the trick.

exactly the same story as what they do to maxcoin, what happen to maxcoin now?

If the other pools had a working miner from launch then this scenario probably wouldn't have happened, 1GH were the first pool to release a working cpuminer for heavycoin, and everyone jumped to use their pool, and the other pools suffered as a result.

On OpenSUSE, use zypper install <...> to fetch required dependencies.

chunking 5.6 MH/s with my xfx 7950

settings:

worksize: 128
engine 1150
memory 1000 (does not need to be set as high as scrypt mining, it does not have any effect...)
intensity 4

does anyone has the same card with less or more hashrate?

I really want to push it hard Cheesy
but this is like the max (whatever I try).
card becomes unstable when raising engine speed (max 1200 but instantly crashes)

I'd suggest switching to nonce-pool instead if you must, others have proved their incompetence.
