Surprised no one mentioned GTX 780 TI.  10MH+ plus a lot less power requirements and less heat.

how much power consumption?

this just got bumped to more than 20 MHash/s. Here's an example for my 3x 780Ti rig.

Code:
[2014-03-27 00:58:35] Starting Stratum on stratum+tcp://hvcpool.1gh.com:5333
[2014-03-27 00:58:35] 3 miner threads started, using 'heavy' algorithm.
[2014-03-27 00:58:54] accepted: 1/1 (100.00%), 37246 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-03-27 00:58:59] accepted: 2/2 (100.00%), 61640 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-03-27 00:59:29] accepted: 3/3 (100.00%), 61450 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-03-27 00:59:41] accepted: 4/4 (100.00%), 61001 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-03-27 00:59:43] accepted: 5/5 (100.00%), 60771 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-03-27 00:59:47] accepted: 6/6 (100.00%), 60428 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-03-27 00:59:48] accepted: 7/7 (100.00%), 60783 khash/s (yay!!!)

The power efficient 750 Ti now does 11.5 MHash/s

Take this AMD.

(we removed all the divergence from our Hefty1 implementation by applying logical ops
 instead of branching)

get ccminer 0.5 from github NOW and rake in the profits.

Christian

Really nice work!  Glad to hear Heavycoin is maintaining its power and thermal efficiencies.

Keccak great job all round mate, looking really good, soon that HVC accepted here will be on that online retailer's website and it' great to know you will be getting a professional to re-do the website eventually. This coin is picking up traction nicely. Also it's relatively stable price wise, no ridiculous growth spurts followed by equally huge crashes, slow solid price progression is just great.

Should I go shopping for Nvidia cards now or can we assume that the heavy kernel will be optimized for AMD as well Cheesy?

it's also reassuring that people are considering setting up rigs taylor made for HVC Smiley.

AltOutlet.com looks very good.  Too bad the only T-shirts for sale are DogeCoin, Globe and Premine.

We should get some community designed Heavycoin T-shirts for sale over there.  We'll buy the top three designers their T-shirts.  The community can vote on which designs look best (the top 3).  First place wins an additional 1000 HVC.

I'd still like to know why there was an 8% premine for IPO and 2% premine for development and another for bounties

Where exactly is the IPO money going as I don't see it going on coin development & bounties if the 4% is for that ? And IF the IPO is being used for development & bounties then why the extra 2% premine for development and additional one for bounties ?

I can't believe I didn't actually think about this prior to launch to raise this issue

People are really that dumb to support a 12% premine coin.  It's fate is 100% certain to die.

After it implodes, it just drives people out of cryptocurrency in general, making everything else fail with it.

Let's not even get into the fact that making a CPU only coin is completely pointless in the first place, but that dream was shattered within about 24 hours.

Ipoer are happy because they are making money, the devs are happy because they are getting paid for their work, bounties are available to further the development of the community. Also you obviously don't know what you are talking about as it took about 10 days before it was GPU mineable, also now that it is people are mining with a shitload less power usage and less strain on their hardware. oh yeah and if it's so dead why did it just get an online retailer to accept payments in HVC? so do us all a favour and fuck off. Also your assessment of what constitutes a good coin is seriously flawed as evidenced by your advocation  of slothcoin, a coin with pretty much zero degree of uniqueness.

but gforce aren't that great in scrypt(mining new coin even if there are asic scrypt is still profitable), yes they consume less but more rigs are required, also they can't mine x11 algo yet

dunno what to do honestly, waiting top maxwell and going with readon for now or sell the readon to purchase the 750ti...
