Obviously, most cryptocurrencies simply cease to exist .. It is only a matter of time and such a low price contributes to this.

I think it just still stay the same, with respect to bitcoin decreases to $2000 as altcoins also lowers their value respectively. But still bitcoin is still the most valuable coin in the market. I think this would be possible since crypto matket now continues to fall down its price.

There are so many different posssible scenarios. Everyone is preaching their own (best outcome). I think if btc drops below $2000 a lot of projects will seem worthless, but are they really worthless just because btc is down? It may also lead to decoupling and to proper projects to prosper without those ties to other coins. I am not sure what will happen, but pas experiences lead me to believe that those that want cheap btc will do everything in their power to get cheap btc.....and the bottom doesn't seem to be in sight (yet).

It will be very difficult right now if bit coin to dip to 2000 . The bottom is ready reach and can't go beyond this .so many traders are already pulling out of the short position they continuously took for a long time. Although if bit coin dip to 2000 altcoin will follow dip at the same time but not all altcoin will dip.

since all of the coins has not been decoupled to bitcoin, definitely the prices of the altcoins would still go down by more than 20% - 30% of its current prices if bitcoin goes to 2000 usd. Anything can happen, and if this will happen and I have money on my pocket, I will try to fill my bags more.

That would be an amazing momemt for me, lol, i would rather pick some btc at lower prices because everyone knows that btc is the Holy-Mother in crypto. My answer is YES! Many icos will not succeed to reach the SoftCap and the low Market Cap coins will die sooner or later. Theres also some solid altcoins that will never die because peoples started to trust them and show love toward their products.

Altcoins price is stricted to bitcoin, Ethereum, one of the biggest altcoins now, will goes to $40 if Bitcoin goes to $2000.

maybe you're right, but what about new coins growing. Let's assume, when bitcoin is still at $6500 the price of ETH is in the range of $200. Currently bitcoin is at $3250 and the price of ETH have touched $80. So it can be concluded that, if bitcoin touches $2000 the price of ETH will be in the range of $40, and the value of other altcoins will decrease up to 50%. I can't imagine if this really happened, maybe there are will be many investors who go bankrupt and won't believe anymore if cryptocurrency is a profitable investment.
