if satoshi nakamoto is not anonymous then many will hunt down satoshi nakamoto and many will try to work together to play a bitcoin price game while the coin name will have a bitcoin name even though satoshi nakamoto is not anonymous anymore because indeed he made this coin with the name bitcoin.

Let's not forget the word' decentralization' ,satoshi makes the right move going anonymous, its just that trust issues still haunt cryptocurrency till date and I as an investor I always prefer to go for coins with dev identity because for the sake of decentralized projects scammers run away easily

I think there is no difference that bitcoin will same such as now but maybe the effect will influence to satoshi himself that he will be so famous because he was created bitcoin which is it can be recognized as first digital currency and it can be considering as one of the most of successfully projects in the digital world and probably he will be invited to particular countries through talkshow and people will ask the questions what is his purposse when he created bitcoin

surely this coin name will remain bitcoin even though satoshi nakamoto does not look anonymous, the most important thing is the core of the coin, satoshi created this coin indeed to aim so that no one has it even satoshi nakamoto doesn't seem to have it himself but bitcoin belongs to all who owns or who buys bitcoin is why bitcoin can never be controlled by anyone including satoshi nakamoto.

It will be a completely different thing if Satoshi publicly shared the identity. I'm sure especially governments will trying to sabotage Satoshi and bitcoin network. Bitcoin is a revolutionary technology that one step ahead from the regular economic system run by government and bankers. I think we will see the different story of bitcoin because I am sure that Satoshi Nakamoto will be pursuit by many people especially the government because they want to know about the bitcoin project. The Satoshi Nakamoto's life will not peace, and he will run from one place into another place except he makes a deal with that people to explain about the project. The crypto arena might not have grown this large today if Satoshi decided not to hide his or her identity. Believe it or not, the name Satoshi Nakamoto had added a great deal of mystery around Bitcoin and crypto. And the attraction that it had created pulled a lot of people toward Bitcoin. Curiosity was brought to a different level. And that made Bitcoin so cool to a lot of people. I myself have always been a fan of this name ever since I heard of it. And through this odd way, people got to know more of Bitcoin and more importantly the ideas it represents. |

Satoshi has appeared, and he says he will remove Bitcoin, which is ridiculous and crazy. I believe he is a Satoshi impostor. I think if everyone knows satoshi nakamoto, perhaps the electronic money market and the BTC price will have many more dramatic drops. All troubles will come to him and FUD happens continuously. Unlike many (or all) other crypto currencies nobody is in control of bitcoin, which is one of the contributing factors to its decentralization. If Satoshi didn't disappear he/she/they would have too much power over its development and direction (Like all the other founders have), and bitcoin would be nothing like we have today. It may not even be around anymore along with the entire crypto industry. |

I don't think that true identity of Satoshi would influence the Bitcoin, at least not in substantial way.
And the thing that someone here mentioned that governments would pursue Satoshi if they new their real identity sounds silly to me.
And I completely understand that Satoshy has no desire to reveal the true identity and for me as a Bitcoin user this is not relevant in any way except maybe for curiosity.

I would be disappointed if it were proven that Craig was the real Satoshi. Craig would have to prove he has the keys to one of the first blocks, (like block #1) for most to be convinced, and him touting he is, and not being able to move a single early satoshi or sign a message with one of those private keys means (to me) he is full ot sh*t. Its been said by others that Satoshi gave us 2 great gifts. the first was Bitcoin, the second was disappearing. |
