It's great news but still, I would prefer to stay in my country and work for building awareness regarding blockchain and cryptocurrencies because, at the end of the day, decentralization is all about uniformity and I am sure that we would like to see 'Bitcoin accepted here' boards across the globe and not just in any single country. I hope that other governments will take some inspiration from such a country and build a sustainable user-friendly crypto ecosystem.

Well Singapore has been supporting a lot of ICO's lately and so I'm not surprise by their moved. And remember that Singapore remains one of the center for IT hubs, so there's a lot of technically inclined people in that nation including lots of expats and migrants workers who basically was there for IT jobs. And yes, Bitcoin is supposedly is borderless crypto, so there's no need to travel there. Unless you're in a country wherein your government took a hard stance against crypto then it make sense to go there as safe haven or if you're really pursuing to be a crypto investors. But still, this is very welcoming for crypto enthusiast around the world.

I saw this article today: https://news.bitcoin.com/singapore-regulatory-framework-cryptocurrency-payment-services/ about paying with cryptocurrencies in Singapore. The central bank has finalized the new regulatory framework for payment services and they have included cryptocurrencies. I think this is the future of banking and something that all countries should start doing. The plus of making this change in the financial system is that there will be less money laundering and terrorism financing risks in the crypto world which is good for normal people that have hope and invest in online coins but bad for the ones that use the online coins for the reasons mentioned before. What do you think? Is it a good idea to introduce cryptocurrencies in the financial systems of the world's countries? Actually you can go to some places in the world and using btc as payment, even there are bitcoin ATMs in some countries. If Singapore will regulate cryptocurrency payment services, i think the south asia countries around Singapore will following in the future which is a good thing.

Yes it is definitely a good idea to introduce cryptocurrencies in the financial system. Although Singapore is now open to cryptocurrencies, the rest of the world may not be following closely. X Infinity is a Singapore based firm that caters to people who want to freely spend their cryptocurrencies anytime and anywhere without barriers. This is possible as X Infinity created a MasterCard that stores cryptocurrencies allowing users to withdraw fiat cash from ATMs or purchase regular items from any merchants accepting MasterCard. Check it out! http://www.xinfinity.io

this is good news. one member of the Southeast Asian country was able to implement crypto currencies for financial transactions. this can be an example for Asian countries, especially the Southeast Asia region. in that country there will be more and more tourists visiting because of the ease of access in transactions and providing various ways to transact for the convenience of all those in the country. this will improve their economy.

This will certainly take time for adoption but it is inevitable. A cashless payment system has been planned for decades. Something only a few actually have knowledge about. Personally, I perceive this to be scary because this has been foretold in Revelations. But if it is destined to happen, then we just have to embrace it.

It definitely is a good idea in introducing CRYPTOCURRENCIES in the financial systems of every country, and might as well introduce it on public as it will be good news to the citizens, however a lot of countries are still having negative thoughts since it is DECENTRALIZED and aside from that they have their own reasons on why they don't want cryptos to enter on their countries, and for Singapore, I think that with a great country like SG I think that cryptos would be delivered professionally and that people would definitely use it as Singapore is a country that is very familiar with technology and is a country that embraces technology and might as well Bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrencies.

As much as i want cryptocurrency to be used as a form of payment for my daily life, thinking about how volatile and unpredictable crypto is, I'd rather hold them than use them to buy anything. I mean for sure y'all heard about the guy who bought a pizza for 1k bitcoins. Imagine if he did not use it to buy that pizza and just hold on it.. But hey, this still a great news cuz that means it's popularity will increase. A good start it is.

Singapore has become one of the most business friendly places in the world with their low taxes and open policies. They have one of the richest populations because of the economic freedom they provide. Unfortunately, living there is quite expensive so a normal working person would have a really rough time there.

Everyone knows that Singapore is a booming country and that it is legally permitted to use Bitcoin so the use of Bitcoin in Singapore is very normal. I will arrange work and come to Singapore to experience Bitcoin comfortably.

The introduction of cryptocurrencies on a legitimate basis in the middle and upper class countries should be implemented as soon as possible. As soon as cryptocurrencies become official, their rate and volatility will finally become stable and trade and investment will become more secure and predictable than now. I definitely for what would legalize bitcoin.

Yeah other Governments should make this as an example to apply in his country. Singapore is very friendly to Cryptocurrency so that the community there is higher science technology rather than other countries.

I dont think that it can lessen the money laundering and terrorism somebody are still free in using cryptocurrency and also it is only singapore who regulate it, meaning how about the other countries who still no regulation about the crypto.

this is the best news i have seen this week on cryptocurrency. I am glad that despite the fake news and all the battles on cryptocurrency and bitcoin, more countries and companies are adopting its use. that goes to show bitcoin has come to stay and will definitely get stronger
