You should hold for now and maybe if you still have some good extra money then buy out more bitcoin now. This is the best time to buy crypto where market is down. Much appreciated, that's a wonderful plan mate If you have made intentions about not selling coins for at least 2 years. I will say it is a great work now the situation is very worse and not sure where it will stop, Sometimes you need to take the risk and invest. I suggest you plan for buying coins at cheap prices and sell once the value Increases, If the market recover's then you can sell for a good price.

As much as I agree with your sentiments regarding the flaws of the fiat banking system, keeping all your funds in BTC or other crypto is a bad idea. You say you don't care if the price goes to 1 cent. If all your money is in BTC, I'd bet you would care quite a lot if you lost >99.999% of your net worth. Regardless of how "real" your 1 cent is, that's not going to pay your rent or buy your food.

Again, as much as I would like this to be the case, it simply isn't at the moment and won't be any time soon. As much as I would like to only use crypto, we have to use fiat for bills, food, gas, etc. Keeping a healthy exposure to crypto and various fiat investments is necessary for a secure future.

Indeed, this's the main purpose of creating cryptocurrencies and that we are always should remember this.

well good for you but i don't think you are doing the right thing by having "ALL" your savings in bitcoin. as long as humans were making investment, they were advised to diversify and also to invest what they can afford to lose not all their savings.
of course your strategy depends on your lifestyle but for an average person, specially the bread winner of the family doing something like that is reckless in my opinion. don't get me wrong i strongly believe in bitcoin's future and i have a large stake in it but i still keep fiat and also other assets as a safety net.

That's the mentality we need to have now, we are in this until the end, bitcoin really should not have an arbitrary value, unfortunately for the people who invested when it was in ATH, nothing can ensure that it recovers that value, so bitcoin is worth $1 will still be possible to use it for its purpose.

I can say this is rarely good headline, most of us should support and follow this guy example. Holding until we are able to use it directly for everything, that should be the goal for all of us who support crypto currencies. People shouldn't worry about this drop and to panic now when prices are going down, this is just temporary, crypto is here to stay and people should have some safe place for keeping crypto, at least some of it, and to hold it for future, have fun with the rest but always have something in saving and I agree with op that's better to save crypto than fiat in banks.

Diversification is key , putting all your eggs in 1 basket is a recipe for disaster.

Thank you for writing this. During these hard times we need to see that there are people out there who still believe in bitcoin. I agree that banks are terrible ad keep charging people for no reason, but I find it hard to stay calm when btc is falling so much. I've been saving money in btc for a while and so I lost quite a big sum because of the recent drop. I would still use bitcoin whatever the price is, but if the price keeps goin down, I don't want to lose all of my investments. Yes, banks are terrible, but fiat is stable and this is kind of important. I had 1k in December last year and decided to hold it. As you can guess that $1k became some $300 pretty fast... I really wish bitcoin wasn't like that. It's okay if it doesn't grow, but it should stop falling and at least reach some nice $15k level and stabilize there.

What will you do if the price goes down more? I understand your love to Bitcoin but no one knows what will happen in the future, nobody guarantees that the price will not fall further. Another possibility is that Bitcoin will be replaced by another digital currency. So you should see these as a possibility and invest Bitcoin as much as you can afford to lose and diversify remaining portion of your portfolio among some investment sectors according to their risks.
