If I'll have to choose only one, I'll go for BTC. It's still safer to be on the king's side. Anyway, almost trades in altcoins centers in BTC so it's more practical. But here's my point, why choose when you can have both. Invest one-fourth portion in IOTA and therest in BTC. that way, you earn in IOTA and BTC when the market goes lively.

I never think about another coin while BTC is option. BTC has first ever decentralized cryptocurrency and after that, all the coins came in the market. And because of this thing, BTC has a massive effect on other coins and it will be manipulated to other coins. If the price of BTC has started gaining then the market will appear green and when BTC started losing its price that time all the market become red. So things kind of massive effect has BTC on other coins. So always choose BTC over any coin. It has high potential in its growth. If you make your mind right now to making an investment in it then you will definitely make a huge amount of profit in the upcoming period of time. Although IOTA was able to become the top 15 in coinmarketcap to date, I think IOTA is only an altcoin which of course can be a choice of recommendations to be used as an alternative investment. Another with Bitcoin that has been trusted by everyone is able to become the best cryptocurrency that can provide benefits to its holders |

I would never buy IOTA, it sounds like a coin that will go nowhere, I think the most important coin to buy are bitcoins, get one or two before you buy any other cryptos, and stay above 80% into bitcoins. If I got $10.000 in fiat today, I would go all in on bitcoins. |

I would definitely buy BTC if I had to buy Cryptocurrency for today's 10.000USD. I chose Bitcoin because Bitcoin was the most valuable and influential Cryptocurrency of this period. Bitcoin's acceptability is in all cases before all other cryptocurrencies. I want to buy bitcoin because the demand is high, the acceptability is high, the dominant cryptocurrency and its price increase. Considering all aspects, I will choose Bitcoin.

I prefer buying btc compared to other coins, because btc is guaranteed the most potential number 1 coin in cryptocurrency, and currently many investors are happy because of the high increase in bitcoin.
BTC should even be the only focus of most investors for investment while other altcoins should only serve the purpose for which they were created in which majority of them should be utility tokens.The funny thing to me is that these altcoins still have to totally wait for bitcoin to increase before they can increase. For some days now, many people has been complaining why other altcoins has not been rising, because they seems to remain in red zone, just this little push we saw from bitcoin, see the way all of them are swimming in green market, I still need someone to please break down the logic behind this, is it nit bitcoin people are investing in, why are altcoins rising up to follow bitcoin? The beauty of the cryptocurrency is that not only the status co but almost everyone around the world right now can make use of it. You have access to internet and you have the knowledge about what to do with crypto to make money with, you are likely to make it to the top. Unlike the real estate business, which was kind of suited for the rich, anyone out there can invest in crypto. |

I will also choose Bitcoin to avoid unnecessary risks in this market because Bitcoin affects all altcoin and this coin can determine the future of this market. I think the long-term investment will never be late because recently a lot of bitcoin related news and certainly in the next 2 years, value of Bitcoin will soon reach $38,000 so decide to invest based on your ability. |

That advise will be best if one is sure of the project we are choosing as alternative to bitcoin, because what is the need to diversify into a coin that has future and would not give anything useful after the long wait, I am not saying IOTA is a bad project, with the little I have ready about, I think they are still fair, but I just don’t feel like having any investment in it. I just feel like we should only make bitcoin our focus for now, since they all still have to wait for BTC to increase before they can increase as we can see from the market now, most top altcoins are all increasing only when bitcoin value increases too. |

This is one of the most stupid threads I've ever read. Why would you compare these 2 coins  . It doesn't even close to each other. Bitcoin and IOTA?? Are you serious. For sure many will choose Bitcoin over IOTA because it is more trustworthy compare to the other. I'd choose Bitcoin too because I'm holding for the long run. I'm not saying that I'm not buying IOTA but I don't hold any IOTA's at this moment. |

Well better be quick with it otherwise you will loose an opportunity to own a whole Bitcoin with that amount of money by which I mean that the price of Bitcoin is rising exponentially and where it was less than $7000 few days ago, it has crossed $8000 few hours ago. That being said, it is suggested to be the next speculator and make money in this thing. |

Definitely bitcoin. Although, I want to note that my choice is such only now. If, at the time of purchase, my analysis would have shown that by purchasing IOTA I could potentially earn quickly and a lot, then my choice would be made in favor of IOTA. You must understand that nobody cannot say something for sure on the crypto market. Having made a certain choice, after 6 hours you can greatly regret it. Both coins are in comparable, let’s put all the factors together, IOTA is a baby to bitcoin, and the investors in bitcoin are far stronger than IOTA, If it take IOTA community 10 years to become millionaire in USD, it will take bitcoin just 1 year. Bitcoin is still the most recognized crypto in this industry and majority of these coins all relies on bitcoin to perform, some of them even depend on the system of bitcoin. Ethereum was created as the second coin in the market and until now no coin has ever been able to overthrown ethereum no matter the solution they present, their reputation and name alone will not give way, not to talk of their technology. |

If i really had that amount, then I would really be cautious enough to choose the coin where to invest. I mean 10 USD is a small amount but still money is money. So the real question is where i should invest? I would say that i will invest in BTC only. The reason is clear and straight, as BTC is stable compare to rest of the coins. So if the price went down then it would not be a huge loss. Hope you get your answer now. |
