When the rate is continuously dropping down and investors all over the world keep selling their tokens in the hope of not finding them out of funds, it's getting harder and harder to believe crypto has bright future.

What are the possible outcomes regarding the crisis, esp cryptocurrencies-wise and why they were actually invented for, namely,  free exchange of funds with no borders and taxes, shops where you can pay without commissions and other things?  We all saw a surge in ICO projects, each of which promised a real use of the crypto. Where are they now?

What are your thoughts and opinions on the future of crypto? Looking forward to hearing from you guys.
I don’t really think it’s possible to run a crypto business when the price is falling. But I do have a friend who buy and sell cryptocurrency, especially Bitcoin. Despite that the price is going down, this guy still keeps on buying and I’m just confused on why he’s sill buying Bitcoin despite the price is down. Maybe some people do have ways of running a successful business on cryptocurrency no matter what.

He's good. The moment bears die, the bulls of luck will praise him with success and coins.

probably it'll be hard to build a decent marketplace right now as we are all going through the crisis and kinda never-ending semi-drop of the Bitcoin, but I'm sure we will be able to sometime later. The prognoses are fairly optimistic.

I do understand why your friend is doing this and pretty successful: we have been there (I mean the crisis) five! times now! SO he is just witty an clever enough to make fortune once it's over. Congratulations! He could by some goods as well you know, not only the crypto.

the rate is going down but this is temporary.

We have all the chances to gain steady income by implementing new ways of running businesses, let's say Blockchain based
marketplace or something alike.

Soon the prices will be up again and we all see the moon.;0

This year has already witnessed lots of up and downs, the drop of crypto and a bunch of well-performed projects of just bare scums.

What are my thoughts on this? Hm...Everyone is hoping it'll be over soon.  And so am I.

lol, this year we have never seen such a Mariana Trench like we can see now  Grin

this Marianna Trench is the fifth one the BTC has witnessed. So no worries, we'll be good.

this is is a wise strategy to follow. we have been slowly recovering over the great depression period and on a few quarters, BTC will gain its power.

Nope the BTC is not going down anymore.

As usual, there are several possible variants of how it all can turn out

I think the whole decentralization dogma will be changed or adapted to the market realities soon.

Investors will not allow losing all their money as they will sell when the market seems not performing good to get a part of their capital. Therefore it's difficult to predict that a good marketplace will survive if those investors will jump-off the ship if the weather is not good. I think we can only see a good marketplace if we can see that the volatility of crypto has been stabilize as those investors will not afraid to invest or adopt cryptocurrency.

See everyone here is pretty much optimistic about how potential crypto is.

So what if we aren't able to make it work again?

Positive attitude and belief is the main thing. After all, behind every project there are people

I agree that it is important for each of us to have a positive attitude and belief, however, are these two traits enough for the crypto market to survive, grow and get back up? Would you say that what we are experiencing as of this moment is some sort of a cryptocurrency market collapse?

When the rate is continuously dropping down and investors all over the world keep selling their tokens in the hope of not finding them out of funds

this has always been a big risk that people should know before investing in cryptos. If something goes up from $1000 to $ 20,000, of course it can also fall from $20,000 to $ 1000, that's a risk people should calculate

it's getting harder and harder to believe crypto has bright future.

the price will increase when there is a lot of demand and this can take a lot of time, something like years, if you Hold for the next 5 years, you can see big profits and no losses because the price in 5 years can be more than $ 25,000. But many people want to see the price increase every day and they get anxious. Look at the crypto world, every time the price drops people enter in panic, because they want to see price increases every day

yeah. exactly my point. we've seen the fifth shutdown now, most of the investors and community members of the ico chats are in a panic as well/ just don't see what the trick is Wink patience is key. i always say this to my co-workers or mates in the chats, they never believe. then the price goes up an woah, it's was the right thing to do. I mean to hodle

I am currently looking for ways to save what I've earned in crypto so the topic is highly handy for me.  Even restored my profile after a while lol
My personal thought is we need to rebuild the whole system by transferring all the fund from fiat to crypto-based marketplace platforms. If anyone of the experts or just users out there are aware of such affordable yet cool options, please let me know.

You need a little perspective in times like this.

Let's take into account the massive rally late last year and into January of this year.
Bound to be a hangover that the market needs to work through.

No doubt some opportunists took advantage of the hype to raise quick money through ICO's
However there are also probably a great deal of solid projects and considering the early stage
of their development it will take time for them to deliver results in terms of token price.

Having said that, STO's will be a bit of a game changer as we will have Tokens backed by real assets
generating real income/yield/growth and that is going to make markets interesting.

In the meantime be a visionary and if you believe in the underlying technology and the teams behind them, have patience.
Alternatively, if you can sift through the many tokens that raised money early in the year and are now trading at fractions
of their earlier prices, then do your homework and pick ones that will emerge with real functionality.

If you are looking to create a place which can act as payment medium with no expense to increase the prices then it may not do the job, more people will come to spend or sell their coins for now which make the prices to go lower. But having such market place will really increase the use of cryptos for the paymet system.
