Hello,

I'm looking for a second hand laptop with an NVIDIA GTX 1050Ti graphics unit, or similar.  Not too much, they tend to be expensive.

I need a 15in or 17in laptop, smaller is better, with a good CPU (Maxwell architecture or later), NVIDIA discrete/dedicated graphics with Pascal architecture so I can practice my CUDA programming.  It doesn't have to have a big SSD or anything, a 7200rpm mechanical disk is fine.  Ideally some USB ports, USB 2 and 3, USB C type would be nice.  A place to plug in an external monitor would be good.  RAM: 16GB, or upgradable to 16GB.  All keys working, all hardware checks passing, doesn't overheat too much, good cooling, ideally it should be able to run Linux perfectly otherwise Windows 10 is fine (it doesn't need an O/S to start with, I will install).  Latest updates to BIOS and things like that.  In good condition.  Not too expensive.

I will pay with bank transfer, direct deposit, cash, BTC.  Ideally nothing over AUD $750 but I will consider more for a good GPU that still works as new.

Please PM me with details, specs, pics, what you want for it, payment method, shipping.

Thank you,
James

Just a little bump.

I've checked eBay but nothing suitable so far.  I will keep eBay'ing if no responses within a week.

Sorry for the spam "bump" post.

your good, you are allowed to bump threads like this every day, sorry I cant help you, I have looked on here for laptops before but unless its mining gear this probably is not the right forum if you need it quickly, but their are helpful people that browse once a while here, you might get lucky. just be careful with your BTC, use escrow.

Hi, thank you for the advice.

I will be careful.  I've had some interesting experiences on eBay.  Buying when the laptop didn't exist (already sold) and having to get a refund.  And everything is overpriced... :-(
