The first impression is important to catch visitors attention, and gives them some early positive feelings and experience on the site, then they will do creat their account, join and play. Or at least, the site will be added into their Watch List, and they might come back to create accounts later when more interesting games or features added over time.

Agreed, I do not doubt their layout design because it is already really good to attract more players here. But do you think that it is the only thing to attract players? I can't agree on that, because they need to have more giveaways or events to make sure some big whale coming here and played. If a site attracted lots of players and they didn't even have a complain about the site and the payments process then the new players that wanted to play and the old players will feel safe playing dice game in this site without having problems like they are not able to get their funds to their wallet to store safely.

It is a very long journey, and will be not a smooth one for sure. There are loads of challenges along the road, but there are also opportunities, as always. If the team do their works well, keep their promises, give good supports to their users, develop and diversify games on the site, over time, CyberDice will become bigger, and I have no doubt that it will become one of giants in gambling industry. This is true. The casino does seem to be quite popular among the dice players on here and the fact that it continues to grow is a good sign.
Though, it appeared to me that perhaps one other way to improve market visibility is by spreading the word as much as possible even now and I remember coming across a site that was listing the main casinos (link here: https://www.blockz.network/), perhaps the team could contact the site owner to see if they could add the casino there? Yes, I do agree but you should really consider about marketing programs that will help to boost new players, but without it then it will be pointless. Often gamblers like to have a new environment or new programs that keep the gambling thing alive. So if only they do have something then it might be great to boost new players coming and it can generate more on cash flow

2.  How are bet speeds, per second?  5?  10?  Faster/slower than that?

Those aren't silly questions, I think they're helpful mostly the first question because gambling sites usually block certain countries and sometimes they have a list that can be found in their T&C.

I agree their bet speed seem faster than others because they're still new and have less users. In the future it'll probably get reduced for smaller bets if they process thousands of bets per second.

Most dice site limit the roll speed based on the wagered amount. Always funny to see the bot speed up suddenly when it reach that minimum.

Of course your internet speed is also a factor but not the main factor.
