Do some research on the coin and try reading updates about it, read whitepaper, knowing the roadmap, knowing the team and its advisors, the project itself, and many more. Do it properly then you can get some profits in a matter of time. It is not an easy task finding a good coin the skyrockets in a day, or a week, or months. Just reminding.

The green market is always short-lived. The market we saw most of the time in 2018 was red. It was really frustrating. I used to think that I would make a lot of money through crypto in 2018, but It looks like this is a joke now.
