I currently have an issue with the Dayun Zig Z1. It has stopped mining and has a red light indication where it is written "firmware". Does anyone know how to fix this issue. I dont have access to its ip address because it won't connect.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Did you try to factory reset the miner? There is a small hole for the reset button and hold it for 15 to 20 seconds then release wait for a couple of minutes and try to scan the IP again.

Also, you can check the guide on how to flash this miner to stock firmware check this link https://www.cryptominerbros.com/dayun-zig-z1-firmware-upgrade-guide

Hi crairex20,

Yes I tried to reset the machine by holding the reset button for 15-20 seconds but nothing seems to happen, I am unable to connect to the ip address because it won't show up. (I use my pc that is directly plugged into the rotor so I should be able to see every IP that is connect to my internet/rotor correct)? (I also use advanced ip scanner to search my addresses) I tried burning another flash drive but that did not work for me, maybe I didn't download the correct version. Do you know how to download the stock settings. I simply need to get back onto the original IP address that my machine is on so I can connect to it and update the firmware. Could the machine also have a broken hashboard or maybe a broken controller board?

I would also like to add that the lights in the hashboards that usually blink orange when the machine is working are not lighting up anymore. Could this mean the controller board is broken?

Please help. Sad

Thats an issue with Dayuns.
Light variant - you have to use a new flash stick 8 Gb and write to it the z1 850/900 Mhz udisk image.
Hard variant - before using new stick you have to rewrite new stock image to mx25 eeprom, which is located on board with h3 allwinner cpu.

Write here, pls, which one is yours.

Hi mikal_akut, glad you could help! how exactly do you rewrite new stock image to mx25 eeprom (also what is the mx25 eeprom)

I have tried to use a flash stick 16Gb and downloaded/burned the z1 850/900 Mhz udisk image. However this does not work??

Can you tell me in a detailed text how to do the hard variant??? I am a noob.

Thanks,
