Though a specialist words could be taken as a guideline for selecting your portfolio, I would forbid anyone to follow these self proclaimed specialist. As there are no specialist in the crypto market. If they were any, they are already rich and don't give advice to people for a small fee.

You're wrong. Follow people will be able to drop ourselves and make us always dependent without ever learning. Someone knows about investing specially with crypto because if you do tend to ask but doesn't know on whats crypto then it would be still useless.
You should really make yourself be prepared in all sorts of things when we invest.First rule, only invest on the amount you can afford to lose neither on crypto or traditional investments.
Its not necessary to find someone who will teach you yet you can make self yourself learn.

For me, I'd rather learn for myself and do things on my own because other's advise won't take effect if you don't experience things yourself. We also have our own differences and approaches too. You don't need any specialist when it comes to investing. All you need is your own set of skills and common sense to make an investment. And do some of your own research.

unfortunately "specialists" which are basically "investment advisors" aren't out there to help you make money. they are there to earn money by providing some information to you which is mostly to encourage you to give them your money so that they can invest it for you!

in crypto space things are even worse since "specialists" are basically pump and dumpers who have no idea about the market. they only know how to scam people out of their money.

in this market if you want to make profit and be successful, you have to start small and start on your own. study the market and do some trial run to see if you are capable of learning it and making money. then after some time increase the amount of investment.

Yes you are very right and spot on, in this year it is very difficult to find sincere specialist, and even if you check through ico webpages, or ratings webpages, they are all created to make some money and literally help you invest.

It all depends on the kind of financial specialists you relate with. Some are basically not ready to assist. They're rather there for their own personal gain. But, I still think it's best one meet an investor with a good heart, who could actually assist you to invest.

Yea I think this is a good idea. mostly the best way to go before investing is to just start doing a lot of research into the coins that you are interesting in investing in but since a lot of people do not want to do that then I think a specialist would be the next best thing since they can explain to them what they are getting into and what they can do

Talk to someone or start researching. There's a lot of investors that went wrong by not giving proper decision after buying such coins which they think will give them riches. But that's not how it goes.
