Good day guys i just want to share this in case you dont know here are some of acronyms that i encounter in the last few months ive been confused of this acronyms so here are some of it

DYOR - “Do your own research” is perhaps the most universal advice throughout cryptocurrency trading, and in a broader context, investing in general

Hodl - its just a word hold that been shuffled

ICO - "Initial coin offering" ICO represents the crowdfunding approach to launches and relaunches of cryptocurrencies

FUD - “Fear, uncertainty and doubt” FUD often takes the form of misconstrued or even blatantly incorrect news shared to convince holders of a coin to sell off their holdings

DEX - "Decentralized exchanges" are often referred to as the future of cryptocurrency trading

FOMO - "Fear of missing out" FOMO can take the form of hype that’s either natural or orchestrated: things like news stories and sharp price movements can all be attributed to FOMO, as well as panic buying and panic selling.

Altcoins - "Alternate cryptocurrency" that is any cryptocurrency other than bitcoin

MCAP - Market Capitalization

ATH - "all time high" the maximum price that a coin has attained

hope that it will help you

You missed the most commonly used word , the word "Crypto" which we talk about most is actually an acronym, which should be Cryptographic currency.

OP, I know that you tried to be helpful, but you posted only few most important acronyms. If you want to learn more acronyms and terms, you can check this thread called "Terminology":
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=126798.0
There you will probably find almost all crypto related acronyms that you need to know.

You are bound to encounter these acronyms if you frequent Bitcointalk or cryotocurrency websites, andajority of people on here are pretty familiar with them and what the stand for.
There are bunch of posts on this topic and some cover more acronyms than you have outlined here. Nevertheless, good write-up.

The MCAO is kinda new, I've not come across that as yet.

Let me also lay emphasis on this link it is a very important and a most read for anyone that has not yet seen it

It's like a basic guide to terminology I don't think there are much terms on cryptocurrency that was left out from the post even the replies on the post are quite educative

Regardless of that I would like to thank the OP for his/her efforts on this but we have already bombarded with such post

Most of crypto enthusiast already know that acronyms as it is the most used or the most common in bitcointalk amd other sites. I think you really did miss a thread about the acronyms in cryptocurrency or called as terminologies. I think you should DYOR in google, it's free anyway.

I guessed reading some threads to know if someone have constructed a similar topic helps you save some time. Your thread don't even come close to the glossary of what yogi did. Also it is really not a position for a newbie member teaching other newbie members not unless you really know what you are talking about, you didn't even at least put some time on describing deeply what those acronyms are. You as a newbie shouldn't be creating guides instead you should be the one reading them as it will really be helpful for you here in the forum.
