Honestly a ledger or trezor is not expensive at all and really worth the money.
If you measure with yourself it can be very cheap as you said. But there are people storing like $50 in Bitcoin and its big amount for them (kids mostly). I don't think trezor is not expensive then and still kids are most vulnerable in terms of wallet security.

Frankly speaking, you need this type of stuff ONCE, so please AVOID cheap deals which cost you more eventually. I would say try Trezor or Ledger. However, IF one really wants to look at more options for Hardware Wallets, then check Cryptolinks, they are a well research place, which helps you with finding out about the BEST ones. But again, it’s no rocket science that Trezor is amongst the most used one.

At the moment there is also a 30% discount on the Ledger Nano S and is therefore already available for 69.99 €. You can even think about whether this comes into question for you. The moment is definitely ideal.
