What are your key reasons of choosing a particular exchange for trading?

Of course the key reasons of choosing  a exchange is having a low fee and great platform or exchange. And also how the exchange is secured to any hackers.

Security, low transaction fee, no minimum trade, SEO friendly website, no KYC verification required, and responsive customer service. Besides that, because I am a short-term trader, so I am only interested in exchanges that have a large volume and more liquidity. But sometimes I also choose exchanges based on the altcoin that I get from bounty campaigns, but this is only to sell them, then leave

Low Volume is a no go for me, apart from making daily trade close to impossible as one's sell or buy orders may not be filled for along time, it's also sometimes a sign the the exchange may not be safe and trustworthy

The ease of usability and the lack of KYC. If I have to give you my information to do anything on your website I will not be involved with it, I don't care if thats the law, you have to follow the law where you are based on, I don't have to follow your laws since I am not living there. Hence I try to select the highest number that I can trade without giving any information at all.

Binance is great on that front, I can trade as much as I want and still not give any info at all, their limit is way above what I have in bitcoin. Also the amount of coins are important too with volume of course, there are many places like cryptopia that has many coins but they lack volume so it makes no sense, however binance has a lot of coins and all of them have healthy volumes too.

I try not to trade assets with a small trading volume, as it is more difficult to sell them when there is an urgent need. Most often I trade pairs with btc, eth and usd. I don't see any liquidity on the other pairs, so there is no sense to trade them. Perhaps in a year the situation will change and people will trade on more currency pairs.

When you do not have plans to use an exchange as a wallet services then I guess you do not need to worry big. I choose an exchange based on availability of one particular coin pair and then I will check in this forum for their credibility. I do not prefer exchanges which are asking to clear KYC. I test a new exchange with small volume for first time. That's all for me to choose a new exchange. I do exchange and I will withdraw and then I will forget that exchange until I need to trade another coin/token.

How you will make sure that your exchange is having good security systems ? I read most exchanges are saying that they have cold storage or even deep-cold storage and having world class protection against all types of hacking but how we can be sure about those things. I mean how we can cross-check their security systems. I guess we need to go simply by their words.

The exchange need to be registed with a known user and need to have coutry of orif=gin which can halp is to identifies that this is really an exchange,if you are doing in anonymous the people may have doubt in their mind always.
Volume is not a big matter but I won't go to a new exchange at first instance so they need to have good number of registered traders doing some kind of activity.

Also reputation among users and that is running legitimate business. Volume is not so important to me. For me, an Exchange is very important, I always pay attention to the quality of the exchange. Exchange is very important for our success in trading. The higher the level of trust An exchange will make us more comfortable in trading.  Comfort and safety are the main things that must be considered.

When choosing an exchange for trading, there are lots of things I do consider and the first thing I check is whether the exchange is available in my country (whether they have an office in my country), but there are still good exchanges that are not available everywhere.

Next thing I check is the coins offered and liquidity. Another thing that is very important is security, if it’s not secured then I’m not going for it. Next is customer support and trading fees, margin, reputation and a lot more. Good luck hope you find the best.

Sometimes the project in which we invest also convince us to join a particular exchange. It is important that we trade on the exchange on which our coin is listed to keep an eye on the trading of the coin and to secure ourselves from the loss.
