I also think that way but cryptocurrency market is full of surprises and manipulation.  In just one night everything can turn into reversal.  But if nothing change in 2019, I believe lots will quit cryptocurrency but there will be new comers also.  Since lower price means a new window for crypto optimist investors to enter.

Well if that happens it will be really bad for holders and for Crypto, but that does not mean that it is a sign of the end of Cryptocurrency, if things get worst in 2019 then more people will leave Crypto market and more money will get out too and the only people that will continue holding is the believers or the people who have no other choice but to hold, the scenario of 2019 become worst is really bad to the point I doubt that anyone would want to think about it. I think the only people that will leave are the investors.  No  matter what the price of cryptocurrency, once it is implemented and used, users will stay and use the product/cryptocurrency if they see it convenient and easy.  I am saying it because cryptocurrency is now incline to mass adoption, see regulations and mediation of government institution.  Anyway, I agree that if this market continue to decline until 2019, it will be bad for the holders because they need to wait for more time before taking their possible profit.

Though am not trying to be pessimistic but what if nothing change in 2019, what if the bear market continues unabated, will it be the end or sign of the end for Cryptocurrency because I don't think many will still continue to retain their hope if nothing positive happens at least for the first quarter of 2019.

I am not pessimistic for the year of 2019. The falls may continue in first months of year of 2019 yet, crypto world is gonna rise by April-May. Sure this only could be supported by the development and real steps in crypto world.

You look like someone who is frustrated because asking about this. Even though in 2019 the trends is not change (still bearish) it does not mean it has ended, because we still have a lot of time and opportunity to make changes in the next year. But i do believe it will change for better. Ethereum will have their ETH 2.0.
