if there is no change in 2019 then I think there will be many traders who will experience very much loss and there will be many people who don't believe in cryptocurrency and many will say the bad about cryptocurrency.

2018 is not a profitable year for almost all Crypto enthusiasts. Though there's an increase in adoption of blockchain technology but almost all crypto assets have lost close to 90% of their all time high and there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel. In some weeks now, we will say goodbye to 2018 and the hope of market recovery will now cling to 2019. Though am not trying to be pessimistic but what if nothing change in 2019, what if the bear market continues unabated, will it be the end or sign of the end for Cryptocurrency because I don't think many will still continue to retain their hope if nothing positive happens at least for the first quarter of 2019.

If nothing change in 2019 then you must wait for another year because this is the reality in crypto market. You cannot really predict exactly what will happen and thats why it is very unpredictable. But it doesn't mean that it is the end for crypto. It is just a new beginning.

If nothing changes in 2019 many of people just left crypto and maybe sell their funds for nothing (and it's will be their great mistake). Perhaps almost 99% projects will be abandoned and their alts will worth $0. But I fully confident that in 1-3 years crypto will become strong again.

This technology still in early stages, even though we already know about 8 years ago. Some companies or industries are exploring the potential for this technology, of course this is still unclear, but I am optimistic, there is still room for growing and hopefully best investment.

The last time we saw bitcoin encounter a very similar bear market was 2013-2015.
Thus far, this current bear market is playing out very similar to what took place then.

I think 2019 may be a long crypto winter (sideways trading market) or once the institutions have already accumulated enough and would want to pump the market, they will reverse the market and start the bull run.

     If the market does not recover in 2019, which is the most likely scenario, we will have to wait for the next years, as we did in 2018. If the market does not recover in 2019, it's simple, we have another year at its disposal we invest, which is a great thing. I do not think that in 2019 there will be a fierce growth, I expect growth in 2020 you must understand that cryptocurrency is like the seasons, winter, spring, summer, autumn .. if there was growth then there will be a fall, how low this drop depends on the presence of desperate people and not believing in cryptocurrency .. if these people will be very much, then Bitcoin will fall very low, but the fact that it then rises and surpasses our wildest expectations, there is no doubt about that .. you have to believe and look at graphics of past years, then it will be easier to believe   calm only calm

I think cryptocurrency will be wiped of 50% if nothing will change in 2019 or 2019 will have a same trend as in 2018. A large people of crypto community lose their faith which result in massive sell off, that might bring crypto into dark end.

If this downtrend continues even by next year, then there is nothing to do as to hold and wait till it stains its glory whenever it wishes. Most people has said the rebounds will be coming by 2021 and that is a real long time

The first quarter of 2019 will determine the future of cryptocurrency, if there are no changes and prices continue to decline sharply, I'm sure many people will leave crypto and switch to other investments that they consider better and can provide short-term benefits. Likewise what happened to me, if indeed there is no change to the crypto market and prices tend to decrease. Maybe I will try other investments that can provide benefits, but I certainly will not leave Crypto, because I believe crypto can still provide benefits in long-term.

I do not think the market we recover back any time soon not even in 2019. Although we might see some little pump up but it might not be be a major recovery. In 2019 we might see further increase on adoption of blockchain technology but just as we have seen this year that increase adoption have little or know result in increase in price of coin and token. Even if the bear market lasts the entire 2019 it won't mean the end of cryptocurrency, only certain people's participation. Bear markets happen quite frequently in cryptocurrencies, with BTC having had 3 with a fall greater than 80% in the last ten years. It wipes out the speculators who will just get replaced in the next Bull Market.

If nothing changes by January 2019 it might be disastrous for we can see investors exiting cryptocurrency and that might ruin lots of crypto accomplishments, but 2019 will be full of good news that will have impact on crypto price generally like bakkt and ETF approval ,I think that's what we need before others
