You should move this to the Help & Discussion forum as Meta is only for discussions related to this forum and nothing else.
At the end of the page click on Move Topic and select the Help & Discussion forum to move the topic there.

If someone is to help you with your problem you need to give more info regarding the content of the message you received. Nobody will be able to help you based on that what you wrote.
To be on the safe side you should not download any files that come from people you dont know.

MMS has a size limit of 300kb per file and I don't think it is a virus before you suspected it as a virus better to check the file extension if it's a jpg or png it means its just an image but if the file extension is apk or mp4 it might be a virus.

I never heard that there is an MMS virus for crypto but the only virus that I heard before about MMS is "Stagefright MMS" virus if your phone receives this virus better to delete the MMS message because if you open the file they can gain access to your phone and download all of your important files. So my advise is to delete the MMS for safety purposes or use some antivirus for android that can scan MMS messages.

Hi there I have received couple days ago and there was file for download so it is probably virus from somebody who want to hack my mobile phone to stole my money or?I saw mobile phone from that person mobile phone so I can easy get information from which person is that mobile phone or where it is now?Or that was some professional hacker and nobody cant figer out who wanted to hack me  Huh
Check the extension of the file if it is .apk then it can be virus. If others then there is low chance to be a virus. So first need to check to be clear.

Bruh which phone are you using? Mms is soo outdated and I have been living under the impression that it's totally dead, and besides who'd send you malicious attack through an mms? While there's a possibility that people could but it's very unlikely cause you should have been some sort of target which I don't think you were.

and there was file for download
Just dont execute it. If you download it its still ok, you are secure unless it was executed by something else.
Best advice here is to not mess with files you are not sure origin and that they are not infected.

+1 - if anyone here uses Telegram there is an issue at the moment where people post files in groups that are viruses/malware under titles like "Best ICOs of X" or "Trading Signals" etc.... they can also send them to you via PM so always double check a source before downloading!

Damn. You really are king in giving bad advice to people. Not only in your signature (where you are promoting a scam), but also in your regular posts.

You're telling this guy, without any idea of the OS he is using, what settings he has for opening files etc, that he can just freely download a (potential) virus without it causing any issues to his PC whatsoever?

Come on man. https://security.stackexchange.com/a/94362 There are countless ways a file could get executed after simply being downloaded.

Best would be to not touch that file with a 10 feet pole.

When in doubt then don't go download. Or the best recourse is to delete that messages you got, because it come from untrusted source. No need to figure out if that message comes from professional hacker or what, it's better to be safe than sorry.

Move the thread to your local board or probably improve on your English.

Besides its a good thing you discovered the intentions of the person before hands so I would really want to know what your issue is again

There is a simple answer to this...

If you have received a "weird" MMS from an anonymous source, containing any sort of link etc which you are not sure about at all. The last thing you should do is bother clicking on it. They usually like to lure you in with an offer or giveaway of sorts which sounds too good to be true (because it is) just to get you to click the links. Delete the message and dont click the damn links... Roll Eyes
