Thanks for the answer Babyface! Good to see you here but shouldn't you be hard at work coding?  I may have been slightly confused regarding in which direction a fee is charged. Is there a fee for converting GALI into zGALI or is it the other way round? It's a while since I converted any and can't remember. Actually I never meant to convert any in the first place - I ended up with some zGALI because there was a default setting within the wallet that meant that your GALI balance started converting to zGALI when Zerocoin was activated. That was really annoying because I didn't know what was going on - I think that setting has been changed now though hasn't it? Could you please explain (in very simple terms!) what is meant by "a maximum seven spends in a single transaction"? I'd like to try playing around with zGALI a bit to gain a better understanding but am slightly nervous without knowing what I am doing/is going on! its another coin implemented, zerocoin that offers privacy. First time i have seen it implemented to staking without so many bugs, vitaes are still not working, thats why i like GALI GALI is on to something here, personally i don't really use it that much but will when i start cashing in some crypto currencies or using DEXs What's a DEX? This is an interesting coin hmmm which exchange is it on or the best one to use. I have heard good things about this coin. How much to run a masternode too. |

The GALI blockchain is pretty large and increases all the time. If, like me, you've ever had to reinstall your wallet, unless you have a fibre internet connection, downloading the blockchain can take an extremely long time - I've always aborted that process so can't actually tell you how long it takes, but I think that it could be more than 24 hours with a poor ADSL connection. The great thing about Galilel Project is that they provide a daily snapshot of the blockchain in the form of a bootstrap which you can download from https://galilel.cloud/#wallets (you'll find the link on that page); this is what I have used to get my wallet back up and running in no time at all. Oh, and of course you can also use the bootstrap when setting your wallet up for the first time! Never wishing to stand still, Galilel is leading the way with yet more innovation and tools to help the community - they will soon be providing a bootstrap from the cloud. I'm no techy so don't know quite how this will work, but it sounds great and I can't wait to find out more about it. Wow, the past 24 hours or so have seen a hive of activity in the world of $GALI !
We have seen a notable increase in trading volumes on both Graviex and Crex24 - it seems like word is getting out and people are recognising the potential of Galilel Project.
Furthermore, as has been mentioned in the earlier thread, Galilel v3.3.0 wallet update (mandatory) has now been released. It has a slick UI and some great new features.
If you haven't been watching, since our admission to CoinMarketCap, $GALI has steadily been rising up the ranks and I'm sure it won't be long before we find ourselves in the top 1000 by market cap - not bad for a project which has yet to reach it's one year anniversary!

Mind you thats what you would call love and effort for the coin.
Just purchased 30000 coins, hopefully it will become a retirement fund.
even with the recent purchase the stakes are coming in quickly, love this coin.

I've already donated to Galilel project several times and I'll continue to donate. I like this project because it's totally transparent, I see active development and it has great community.
This maybe true but don't think everything the current team post is legitimately true. They are out to make money like everyone else and if it means stabbing someone in the back to do this they will, proved by what they did to me..(Bossteck)The project is doing well because Babyface is a good dev, this doesn't mean he is a good person. The community is great and I helped a lot of people from the start of Gali v1, let's hope the community stays strong with their own opinions and influence on this project. |

Business Announcement: I want to give a little bit information about what the team is currently working on: 1. In the last couple of weeks we've spent a lot of time to transform Galilel project into a legal binding contract business. We will get a contractual draft for corp creation for review next week and discuss it. Once everything is clarified we will sign it. In Germany it requires that signatures are made in notary and as every team member is located in a different city, we will align the appointments for it. 2. We invest a lot of time and resources into better world region coverage of our website and documentation. We will release the whitepaper in 16 languages next week, all aligned with our corporate guidelines created by @Swooty. This is purely for sake of professionalism and will bring us into better position of explaining our blockchain feature scope. 3. As whitepaper is not read by everybody and website is the first visible part for our project, we decided to translate the website into 16 languages as well. From now on we will align whitepaper and website translations. @Swooty is currently working on the multi-language support of our website. Once this is done, I will publish all the translated texts.
