My question for everyone on this forum, would cryptocurrency non-anonymity/non-pseudonymity help crypto become a recognised financial security?
While this is against the value of cryptocurrency, I want to remind you that top organizations had to go against their values in the past. I am only going to give you the example of Microsoft which didn't adopt Cloud technology with Microsoft Azure until 2010.
Here are two big factors with making crypto non-anonymous: -Less scammers as they are going to be prosecuted -Adoption by the wide public because of the less risk involved
Can you challenge me and tell me why this would not work and why it's not a good idea, except saying that 'cryptos were made to let users be anonymous'?
I want to remind that, bitcoin doesn't offer anonymity, only pseudonymity, meaning that you can still be tracked, and that it is limited by the financial availability.
