Seriously - If nobody knows who these whales are exactly then how do you know these whales even exist?

"Oh it's the whales doing all this" and "Oh its whales doing all that"

How do you know whales even exist?? You don't.

will you tell us how much money you own in your bank account and tell us about all your assets? how many others do you think are going to willingly publish that kind of information about themselves?!
that simply means we don't know who they are but you can see them on the market. when for example a large sell wall is placed, a large amount of bitcoin is dumped on the market in multiple big batches, when large amounts of bitcoin are bought afterwards at the bottom. and obviously when you see large amounts of bitcoin move in and out of addresses while looking at the blockchiain,.... all of these are showing you the whales.

When you say whales, who exactly are these whales?  any names?

In the world of cryptos mysterious individuals who own large hoards of digital currency, are known as the Whales of the crypto world. While it's not possible to figure out their real identity, a study has found that around 32 of the whales hold over 1 million of bitcoins. It's pertinent to note that the smallest whale holds 12k and, biggest holds 85k bitcoins. One can classify these whales into four categories, 1) those who're traders who manipulate the prices, 2) the miners and early adopters, 3) lost wallet holders who have either died or lost access to their funds, and no guesses for this but 4) criminal whales who used it to conduct illegal transactions.

CEO exchanges are considered as whales in cyrptocurrency. I do believe that there are many whales here that owns cryptocurrency exchange. As we all know that exchanges that had huge market cap volume probably had profited a lot on it. They could also manipulate the market cap volume as what other users stated that some exchanges are having fake volumes to attract clients to use their platforms.

If someone told you that the pope can manipulate the price, will you regard the pope as a whale?
Very likely, I am sure that ethereum is the easiest coin to recover and bounce back, even though at the moment it looks stagnant but I am sure that the pope will move immediately and make ethereum great again.

Dear pope, please pump BTC too so I will be able to visit all of your churches around the world.

Normally, if given a choice to do something and nothing, I choose to do nothing.
But I will do something if it helps someone else to do nothing.
I'd work all night if it meant nothing got done.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/digital-money/richest-crypto-investors/

The list of whales is much longer. Roger Ver used to be a whale but selling is easy and doesn't take a lot of time. One day you're a whale the other day you're in fiat.
Craig Wright also used to hold a lot of coins, don't know about his current state. Richard Branson probably still owns a lot.

To me a whale is a person who has more than 10000 Bitcoins. If you have a million dollars in Bitcoin, you're not a whale.

IMO, we really do not have to know who they are but whales are those people who has the power to move the market.
When you see that the market is very volatile, we can blame that to the whales because they love to move the market so they can play and take profit in a short term.
