As many might already have said. You are not 100% secure behind a VPN, not according to EU laws. So yeah, why spend money on it?

And for those who uses a "free" VPN - nothing is free. BTC

Yeah i use VPN in my gaming in the past specially when i was in some areas when Wifi is not that good in signal.

Some VPN that i have is really amazing in spots where wifi is hard to connect.

and also in the past when i played in gambling site , but now that the restriction is really high ? i prevent from using this and when the exposure to hackings increased.

VPN gives better internet connectivity? AFAIK it has nothing to do with the speed of data transfer,just going to connect to different server which you desired to choose for bypassing website restrictions on certain locations.

I use VPN very often Well, it’s not about my inability to access certain Internet resources, but I mostly do it because I am greatly concerned about my privacy. For the last time, I have seen many signs that my privacy is violated on a regular basis. Now not only high tech giants, but also nearly every website may spy on you. I can’t say that I have peace of mind each time I use VPN, but at least I feel less nervous. Perhaps, I have a sort of phobia and it needs to be cured, but I’m already got used to VPN.
Sometimes, I don’t use it because I noticed that it slows down my Internet connection.

So I'm interested if people use VPNs and if so, which ones. Last week I decided that I need to get one. Did some research and right now I'm thinking between Surfshark, Vypr, TunnelBear. I'm particularly interested in surfshark more as it seems there's a lot of positive vibe around them on the web.

I used Hotspot Shield and ZenMate once for some live broadcasts when I had problems on watching them. But I don't need any of them for now. I just use Google DNS for some websites. Because sometimes I find it really weird that I can't get access to the websites I should be able to normally.

Of course I use best free vpn extension for chrome, but not on an ongoing basis, since there is no great need for it. And the traffic is not endless

I just got a recommendation from a friend because I couldn't open a gambling site...
he recommended me protonVPN in Brave browser because VPN on Opera Mini is already very slow on my laptop.
