Please, Pawncoin dev, it's not right that users cannot use your wallets right away via your download.
Look at this thread.
I want to use a mac wallet and I still cannot get it syncing.  I've tried everything outlined below.

Where does the conf file go? why isn't it in the wallet already?
Please please please recompile you mac wallet so people can actually use it.

I added the nodes and the mac wallet keeps crashing? Any tips? Thanks for helping a noob.

I created a text file. Added that. Then renamed the text file to conf.

rename it to pawncoin.conf, and add this addnode= stratum+tcp://pawn.pool.mn:7407

Did what you said. And yeah....bounce bounce bounce crash. Oh well.

It sounds like the file format is invalid. Possible if you used TextEdit to create the file. Try using this file.

close wallet goto start menu type %appdata% goto your roaming folder  find pawncoin folder if you already sent pawncoins to your wallet save the wallet.dat file to another folder for safe keeping, then delete the entire pawncoin folder don't worry when you launch the qt it will make a new one, then step 2 make a conf, open up a notepad and add this
