Hello,
I'm very sorry to hear about this. You may have some type of malware on your computer
that resulted in your funds being stolen because your private information was somehow
obtained. One of the most common types of these are browser extensions posing as
bitcoin price tickers that are actually stealing your account information. There's also the
possibility that you visited a phishing site posing as Blockchain. We've also heard of
computer viruses that detect when an address is in your clipboard, and replace the one you
wanted to use with an address controlled by this malicious party.
By design, Blockchain never has access to users' accounts or funds. If you keep your
password and private key backups secure, then your funds are always safe with us. Since
this information has been compromised, be sure to never use this wallet or any addresses
contained within it. I'd also highly advise against using the same password again. I'm truly
sorry that you had funds stolen from you. That certainly is an extremely frustrating
experience.

Unfortunately transaction is irreversible, there is nothing blockchain.com can do to get back your funds. In their answer, they explained the possible causes that led to your account being hacked. Using online services for storing cryptocurrency is considered as one of the least secure ways which are currently available to users.

When you say that Google and Yahoo protect your account, is that means that you have enabled 2FA (Two Factor Authentication)? You are probably victim of phishing or maybe keylogger, scan your PC with antivirus/antimalware and check your browsing history for site similar to blockchain.com.

I'm sorry this happened to you but you have to know that web wallets are the least secure wallets of all. They have some protection mechanisms but they are not very reliable and still are very vulnerable. Try not to keep any funds there, better use mobile or hard wallets or even better the combination of multiple wallets.
Unfortunately you can't get back the funds you lost but this is the experience for the future that you have to protect your funds.

You bought a significant amount of bitcoin and entrusted it to a custodial entity like blockchian.com? Not a great idea mate. If only you had sent it to your own personal wallet where you own the private keys, losing your funds will not happen. No one can help you with that but yourself. Bitcoin was made for us to make a peer to peer transactions online without any help from third party intermediaries. So please use it wisely and do not trust anyone to handle your funds. Hope that'll be a very good experience to you, it may hurt a bit, but it's a valuable lesson. You should remember it.

I am sorry for your losses, but the transaction cannot be reversed. Please check your computer for virus or malware, and did you enter your account details in some phishing website?

Hacker stole my funds from blockchain
I think you should not blame Blockchain.com. They can not provide security as offline wallets. It is possible to use 2FA as far as I know and this is huge mistake you made. Anyway this is a sign of being more careful in the future. You should consider this as a gain not as a loss. Loss could have been bigger.

Probably you just made this story all up to receive some attention or possibly charity as a result of sympathy well that is left to be said.

Let's say you actually lost your funds through hackers I don't see how the blockchain technology is to be blamed for that the

You should get a hardware wallet if you are unable to keep your computer malware free. Ledger or Trezor are best options.

This is not the first such situation with blockchain.com, I have heard about so many such hacks. If it is not an "inside job", it means that it is the worst secure Bitcoin online wallet in the entire internet. Stay away from Blockchain.com!!

Maybe you did like that famous guy who stored all his passwords online and somebody just bruteforced his old email account and stole everything.

Don't be stupid and vulnerable, keep passwords and keys offline. If you don't have money for a hardware wallet, use an old pc or a laptop with no Internet access.

Am very sure it a malicious browser extension that exposed all your details. This has been very common lately. there is an extension/addon doing rounds and stealing info of unsuspecting.
Also if you had secured ur wallet with 2FA, your funds would at least be safe even after the attempted breach.

This is the con of Bitcoin, once a transaction goes through there is no coming back. At least with a credit card case you could call you bank, but you can't call Satoshi.

If you read the history of this forum, you can find many similar examples where carelessness led to the loss of their funds, bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies. Hackers only take advantage of the moment, but if you do not neglect the security rules, this situation will not happen.

It is quiet sad you had to experience this tragedy. I believe you might have login into a fishing site which made the hacker to obtain your login details to steal your Bitcoin. People should be very careful when login into their account.

Unfortunately this is a very sad situation. And I guess there's nothing to do from this point. I wish you would have studied the security tools to protect you in more detail.

No 2fa and a hacked email, we got the root of the problem. The only thing you can do now is to find out how the trojan got installed on your machine. Were you downloading from unknown sources, downloaded torrents, hacked software like games with cracks, porn sites? You got hacked once but this is not the end. If you don't improve security you will become a target again.

A harsh experience and I hope do not repeat it again
The only useful thing in this experience expensive
You have to be more careful in keeping your finances
Many mechanisms suggested by the guys here and do not forget
TREZOR and Ledger
As long as you have money of this value.

I'm sorry for your friend, but no one is safe from such actions. Hackers are the people who push our world to develop and progress. They find weaknesses and show them, in order that the developers of different products thought about how to improve a particular product. These are really good people.
