Hacker stole my funds from blockchain

That is really unfortunate mate, luckily i have never experienced this before. Hacking issues is I may consider one of the issue why adoption of Bitcoin is somehow slow since some people are afraid that this kind of incident may happen to them. Basic knowledge on how to safekeep you private keys to your funds & assets is a prerequisite here in entering crypto i guess.

it seems like it's your own fault because you can't keep your wallet as safe as possible, a lot has happened like you, the security of your wallet is weak and you get phishing then surely something bad will attack your wallet like now, there is no other hope for the funds you have except the stealing is kind enough to return your money.

I'm very sorry to hear about this. You may have some type of malware on your computer
that resulted in your funds being stolen because your private information was somehow
obtained. One of the most common types of these are browser extensions posing as
bitcoin price tickers that are actually stealing your account information. There's also the
possibility that you visited a phishing site posing as Blockchain. We've also heard of
computer viruses that detect when an address is in your clipboard, and replace the one you
wanted to use with an address controlled by this malicious party.
By design, Blockchain never has access to users' accounts or funds. If you keep your
password and private key backups secure, then your funds are always safe with us. Since
this information has been compromised, be sure to never use this wallet or any addresses
contained within it. I'd also highly advise against using the same password again. I'm truly
sorry that you had funds stolen from you. That certainly is an extremely frustrating
experience.

I have a friend who shares similar fate as you. Hackers are always on the move to retrieve or generate the private keys of wallets and if your wallet is not protected with strong security such as 2FA and PIN, it is always vulnerable. Consider using hard ware wallets like the Ledger Nano S which has recorded good security over the past few years.

Once it happend to me also when I copy the address to whom i want to send coins and pate it to blockchain it pasts the hacker's wallet address. Always match first and last 3 characters of the wallet address

Now you can format your hard disk and install a fresh window to avoid in future

Stories like these really make me feel bad, no one deserves to get their coins stolen as anyone is vulnerable to an attack. Many hackers out there are trying to find out ways to get you to click a link or install something so they can gain access to your computer. There is no way to stop this unless you have a separate computer that doesn't have anything sensitive on it and work with that, it's easier said than done but try to see if you can do that.

Time to move on and make it as a lesson for you and for everybody. It is so sad that you can't get your money back.
Many were being hack also but they can manage to stay strong and still in crypto world.  Just be like them and next time you'll be more careful with your account.

It seems many users of cryptocurrencies still do not understand how they work, if this had happened to the OP with fiat then he could get his money back since banks could reverse the transaction but that is not possible with crypto, so it is important to take our online security seriously from the beginning, if you cannot afford to buy an operating system because the license is too expensive then learn how to use Linux which is free and way safer and avoid using online wallets and only use desktop, paper and hardware wallets.

So sorry you loss you funds, its unfortunate blockchain transactions are in in reversible and I think its your fault you might have disclosed your password or login through a wrong site Blockchain is the best when it comes to security but you need to secure you data to avoid losing your funds in the nearest future.

i believe your device was infected by a malware . dont you have an antivirus installed ? or maybe you didnt update it to its latest database  .

lol . the whole time ive been always using an online wallet but guess what ? i dont ever got hacked . its up to you on how you handle your wallet . hardware wallets are only for serious hodler and invester  but for small time users we are fine of using an online wallet  . thanks for your wonderful advice btw .

So sorry about that, it might be that you mistakenly misplaced your login details and it enters into the wrong hand or that you click on those pshing links.
Unfortunately, I do not think there is a way the transaction could be reversed.
The only thing is this: the wallet address to which your funds was sent could be known but there's no way of tracking the culprit using only the wallet address.

sorry to here that its a big amount have lost. maybe put this happen to your experience. blockchain cant recover your lost and the fund is already transferd... maybe your security in blockchain wallet was to low so that hacker can access you easyly..

From the support team a clear description for the hack has been provided to Op. The wallet service provider cannot take responsibility, it is the mistake made thyself. As each and every activity takes place through internet connectivity, it is good to make transactions through secured platforms.

IMO, the main reason is because the password may weak and she was not put 2FA on it.

So 2FA will be make your account more secure so I recommend to add it while you can !

We should really find a wallet that we can ensure the safety of our funds. You lost your bitcoins and there is nothing that we can do to regain it. I keeping my bitcoins in a safe and trusted bitcoin wallet for me to ensure that hackers can't stole it.

I know everyone are aware for hacking and it getting worsen by know. Not only who have been hacked but it sometimes we heard some exchanges have experiencing it. It came into rampant cause they'll make them easily due to technology upgrades, even how strong keys or passwords we have but still have possibility. They have work it and studied will, so we can expect for being safe with crypto.

This is not the first such situation with blockchain.com, I have heard about so many such hacks. If it is not an "inside job", it means that it is the worst secure Bitcoin online wallet in the entire internet. Stay away from Blockchain.com!!

Well it might be an inside job as well but I don't think it would be so. I have seen many people on social media who guarantee that their investment would return more than normal gains.
I have encountered such scam myself but I knew that something is fishy so I would ignore. I also noticed that the scammer told the victims to deposit the amount in the wallet at blockchain.com
The people used to deposit the amount to their accounts at blockchain.com and voosh the amount would get transferred to some addresses.
I guess the OP is a victim of one such scam.

We must always be vigilant and can store passwords from the Bitcoin account that we have well, to avoid theft. There are too many ways that hackers can take the Bitcoin that we have, both through pishing and so on. What happens, it's better as an experience, then in the future we must always be vigilant and we must review the blockchain and how to secure the Bitcoin that we have, in order to avoid theft.
