Well I think some ICO is believe that there a good chance that crypto market will be better than to situation now. I think ICO still have ability to make a funds next year and I believe that ICO project will have great year for 2019.

The fate of most ICOs hangs on a balance as the present market conditions had not been favourable to them hardly could they reach Soft Cap while Hard Cap isn't achievable the only option is to wait till 2019 for a better market (bullish) before they can make a head way else they will still continue to struggle.

A lot of ICO has failed their investors this year. In recent time, a lot of projects can't reach their soft cap again because investors have stopped investing in ICO. Some ICO that manage to reach their hard cap this year, frustrate their investors by listing the token or coin on exchanges below the ICO price and before you know it the token or coin will fall below what the investors can manager. It is more profitable to invest in an old project than a new project now. I hope this will get better so that investors can recover their investment.

I don't think that there will be a good chances for ICOs to boom again. If anything miraculously happens like more number of new investors will be joining to this forum then only there will be some decent chances for ICOs to grow again. Because, there were a lot of scams had happened in the name of ICOs and everyone from this forum have learned some very big lesson from that. I don't think they will risk again with ICOs. Only if a project is good, I believe its ICO may find success. I am expecting very less number of ICOs in coming days.

Probably 2019 will be a different year for ICOs. Because as far as I have observed many people are not any more interested into ICO contributions. This is just due to the bitter experience they have had from previous ICOs. So, I don't think any differences will be possible for ICOs even the crypto marker is turning into bullish.

I think there is always a possibility for that to happen, especially considering the market trends that do not seem to be favorable for the ICO market. However, since ICOs still get a big chunk of the ventures people make in the market, I would say that if there would be changes to help it improve then it would have a fighting chance since it already has the support.

I think there is always a possibility for that to happen, especially considering the market trends that do not seem to be favorable for the ICO market. However, since ICOs still get a big chunk of the ventures people make in the market, I would say that if there would be changes to help it improve then it would have a fighting chance since it already has the support.

They got a loss because of this market situation is too low price compare earlier month of this year. I've also noticed that some in ICO's project now got failed to their target and they have also lost their investment through this. But real crypto enthusiasts will have a solid decision on how to hold profitable projects.

As you've stated, ICOs this year was a total mess. I think for ICOs to survive come 2019, a new approach is needed; ICO regulation. This will have a positive impact on the ICO market. Approaching institutions, organizations and big investors with convincing product will be a good way for ICOs to raise funds next year.

Most ICOs can not reach soft cap anyway and those who reach they see more bottom. There should be a solution for Bounties. I also join Bounty, but I don't understand why some friends sell tokens for 10-20$, which they spent weeks for it. In my opininon it is most appropriate to make payment with ETH.

ico ico is currently mostly failing to achieve his goals so that it ends in fraud, but it is not all like that and there are still those who succeed. yes, the failed ico ico may be caused by weak market conditions or the absence of investors.

I personally i am very disappointing from the ICO seance in general and i know that many people have lost faith in them due to many of them just turning out to be a major scam and developers just trying to get quick money out of them and then just stop developing it, so the trust in cryptocurrency this year has really gone done, and i honestly doubt that we will see the same support for it as in 2017.

Yes, the crypto market was totally mess this year and alot of new project which seems to be promising are now sell below there ICOs price which is why some of the new project implement the token sales on exchange as a strategy to convince crypto investors about the utilities, community support and legality of their project. However, there are another means/strategy which new project use to raise fund and I believe crypto challenge was one of them.

yeah, that's right. lately ICO really made many people, or investors became disappointed. however, I think, there are still many ICOs that are developing at this time. we know that the price of bitcoin and other altcoins just fell. so I think it takes time until they develop their own project.

There is no problem with the method, fake ICOs cannot be prevented if the government will not intervene.
Two things that could possibly happen, either they will intervene and ICO rules will be more strict or fake ICO will continue to exist but we can minimize the risk if we before investing will try to do some research, it's what you called due diligence in investing.

It looks like it will happen mostly to ICOs. Continuing sales in exchange but in expense of making their value lower because of traders. It happens most of the time.

A sudden listing is a chance for others to sell all out and then waiting for the price dump and that is the time for another buy. But as we see there is no going back afterwards. The price stays at a lower value and never goes back to the ICO price.

The low price of an ico that has been listed on the market is certainly a result of the bearish that is happening in crypto, all coins experience a bad storm in their respective markets. it's just about trends. I'm sure when the crypto trend changes to positive, of course, the ICO business will skyrocket again..

I think this bear market is like natural selection...the strongest projects will survive the weakest will die...
The same with ICO's, strongest ones will survive and make a good long-term projects with huge price increase, most otheres will die...
There is another big problem for ICOs, especially for the ones formed in late 2018 or early 2019... it is financial problem, as most of them were funded with ethereum at or above 1000$, therefore if they haven't converted ETH into fiat, their budget decreased by 90% just because ETH dropped in price. In case of prolonged bear market they are facing bankruptcy.
Statistically number 2 reason why most startups don't succeed is lack of funds, which is exactly what those ICOs are facing...
Given the fact that most of them don't have exceptional business plan, that I believe we will have another year of bear market, that I believe we have way too many cryptocurrencies atm, that I believe alot of ICOs just used opportunity to finance them through blockchain but really are not up to the task, ...  unfortunately I don't see bright future for most ICO's
