With a booming on 2017 and difficult time on 2018, will Bitcoin recover on 2019?

For me bear is still here to stay ,even with incoming of ETF approval it will still take sometimes before we see price surge ,I'm looking forward to Q4 2019 to Q1 2020 ,for now let's all focus on enjoying cryptocurrency at its best,we will see good STO and ICO projects too

It’s safe to say that 2018 was the exact opposite of 2017 as far as the year-over-year cryptocurrency market price changes.

On Dec. 31, 2017, the top ten market capitalizations and the prices of each coin were vastly different than today.

I've read some ideas here and thought it was really a good time to do a review when 2018 will pass soon.

That is also my dream that this 2019 is the time to all users can earn again a good income. But of course 2018 situation is not bad because new investor and future investor would avail on a low price. We know already that there are some people affected to the said deflation but don't worry this 2019 Bitcoin will recover again.

It seems to be quite normal when you think about it logically. 2017 was a booming year, and these periods are often followed by a period of bust. 2018 was that year when pretty much everything was down except for tether. 2019 will probably be something in the middle i.e. slow trend upwards

How much price should bitcoin go to recover? Did you mean 19K USD is a recovering price for the bitcoin? Then I will not agree with you! 20K USD was just a short time pump or like a bubble, that wasn't the real price I think! If bitcoin hits more than 10K to 12K USD then I will call that a good recovery. 2018 was the worst month i have ever passed in the crypto field, but , now i am epecting that 2019 will be opposite to 2018!

Yes 2017 bitcoin made a lot of surprise things and get a lot of attention, then 2018 comes the huge correction that made a lot of frustration for the investors, and there are rumors that said the market is full of manipulation, in 2019 there are bunch of great news, but until now there are still no positive sign that we are going to have a bull run, I think we still going to feel the effect of the correction, I don't think this year we wont see hype like in 2017

2019 is gonna be a slowly recovery but the trend is going up, that's what I'm expecting to happen this year.
Let's just consider last year a memory that we should let go and learn from it, we have a big correction and we are all affected to that but this year is gonna be the year to once again spread positive things like the real information to help the increase of adoption.

We are going cashless and crypto is gonna be the fit currency for that as we are not controlled by the government.

I will say 2018 was the year of buy! Buy !! Buy!!! ,it was the best year for new investors that are looking to build a nice portfolio at a cheaper price ,all coins lose over half of their actual price ,2019 is going to be the year to fix all the mess slowly but surely

The prices are currently down at the moment but the next step is to be up,so it may/will increase but no one really knows what we have to face this year.

I had a not-so-good story in 2018. That was a rather sad story for the entire year. It was not really a big deal, though. On the overall, there is nothing to worry really. I have had a good story about my Bitcoin experiences since the day I hopped in. I always had a good feeling every time my year ends. It was only in 2018 that its end was not the kind that I wanted. It was therefore an isolated case, so to speak. A tiny blot on a wide canvas, in other words. The current year, 2019, is surely a get back year. This is definitely a year of recovery. With crossed fingers, we all hope the year will be much better, if not the best!

It's really hard to tell but from at this point, we just have to wait what is going to happen. All of the cryptocurrency today who have reached all-time high is probably dead, dying, or making a return. Especially Eth because it has one of the most down throughout the year and with the upcoming news, I'm sure it will make a return.

I am sure bitcoin can recover in this year, and the possibility to go there will always open, but the problem is can you wait for a longer than you think? Because no one will know if bitcoin can recover this year or even in the next year. Many people say they are waiting for bitcoin price to recover but the reality, they are panic when seeing the price is down. We already have a difficult time in 2017-2018, and we can hope that this year will bring a big profit.

I want to be positive but the numbers tell it all. And besides, Bakkt announced that they will delay the launch of the futures again so I was really disappointed because it could be first step to gain momentum on the market to make it back on track again. And for sure ETFs won't be approved so I don't really have high hopes at this year to be honest.

Because I find that many people who work in the industry believe in 2019 the market will make some essential progress.
