Just as always, no one knows. No one knows when the prices will rise, and no one knows when the bear market will end. There's no guarantee into knowing if bitcoin's going to recover next year. Who knows? We might have a multi-year bear market. It happened in the past, and it's not impossible to happen again.

Unknown factor.... bitcoin WILL survive but nobody knows id it will "recover". Although i think "recover" is not the right word here since there is nothing to recover. BTC is still doing strong.

with bitcoin there is only so much down you can go before you have no other option as to reverse back up and rise. and we have been at that point for reversal for a while now.
it is only a matter of time and some more accumulation before the rise begins. it can start at any time too but if we see some sort of ignition then it can shoot up suddenly.

No one can answer that question, it's like asking "Will I get rich when I get older?". We can speculate, analyze or make a research but no one will know on what will be going to happen in the next months or years. 2017 was a great year for cryptocurrencies while 2018 was not because of regulatory issues and more but we can't expect 2019 that it will be another great year as this year was not, we can still experience huge drop but there still a chance for a bullish market because it happened a lot of times before. But you can only find the answer as the year 2019 comes.

It's very difficult to predict future in the crypto market.
We have to many market speculations and manipiulation right now.
Also, still is unclear if sEC will accept futures connected with bitcoin, regulations etc.
To many unknown facts.
We need some positive and great news in order that current trend can change.

it would be guesswork and speculation.

There are too many factors at play, banks offering crypto investment products,

No one can tell when it will return to its previous  price,so we need to be prepared always what's the outcome in 2019 if the price is still declining we need to accept that and move forward make another ways to get a income because declining of token prices is not a hindrance to earn.

The hype of crypto currencies has ended in 2017, so Bitcoin price slowly declined during 2018. It is needed to wait for May 2020. Perhaps the halving of mining rewards will have a positive impact on the BTC price. I suppose Bitcoin can grow to $10K, but I doubt that BTC will reach $20K in 2019.

not fully recovering in 2019 it's just gradually slowing down, but let's see what's interesting next year hopefully there are no problems with bitcoin and bad news about bitcoin

No one knows for sure what will happen in 2019 at the price of bitcoin, because sometimes market movements are very far from what we want and can give us a surprise when we never expect it. But I see a few days now the market is starting to increase slowly, although sometimes a decline occurs but it is still dominated by increases.

I think that in 2019 bitcoin will not recover as in 2017, but at least in 2019 it will recover better than this year. I believe bitcoin still has hope and will be able to make a leap.
