Grin (GRIN) has been added to C-PatEx.com family run exchange, that is on CoinMarketCap, for voting. You can vote either through being an active member with PATS on exchange or as a guest via donating LTC to address given of LcPatexKThw7di8At1RJ37H32CxrqfCXrc which might be the faster way since another has a head start on the active member votes. The green highlighted ones are the ones in the win so far for votes and for LTC votes. I have used this exchange for over a year as well as many projects I am in and has been trustworthy so far. GOOD LUCK!Voting Rules ... these were recently updated as there was a disadvantage before and this fix should make it more honest: Coins to add to C-Patex (voting):
All active members with at least one trade and some funds are able to vote once. Users having more than 10 PATS can vote more times. No amount is deducted. Guests (non-users) can vote depositing LTC to associated address Each month two coin will be selected: the most voted and the coin which have the biggest LTC amount raised. The user or guest who submitted a winner candidate will earn 25% of LTC amount raised. Cryptocurrencies that is allowed to include:
All POW or POS open source coins derived from well known algos and compatible with bitcoin API/RPC calls. New Projects that provide all documentation, source in Github, and support for exchange integration scripting. No ICOs or ERC20 tokens are allowed, unless the issuer is a registered company with public financial information with CIK number (USA) or equivalent. And I saw a few post above asking for exchanges with no KYC ... at this time C-Patex doesn't require KYC unless depositing local Argentina currency if I am correct.

So been mining grin for past 6 months with a couple of 1070's I was just forced to upgrade miner due to hard fork.
Yeah...I knew I was mining with a shitty miner ( just not THAT shitty... lol.) I just couldn't be bothered to change out as it was a PITA. I just set it and if it works.... forget it.
Anyway long story short....After forced upgrade, my hash rate just jumped from 5 to 20 ...lol.... THANX DEVS!

Are the grin devs planning on releasing a GUI wallet themselves, or are they leaving that to other developers? You mean one for Windows? They have one in beta and I've tried it about 2 months ago, but it wasn't that great, it was 50% GUI consisting of lines of code. I don't rembered it very well but think of a GUI made of CMD lines! You can go to their Github and see if they have a newer one.

Grin will no doubt release a good one sooner or later.

Poloniex is still one of top exchanges when you cut off fake volume. There were many researches made in past year.
If I do not miss something, Poloniex is one of the first exchanges listed Grin coin. They responsed very fastly with expectation of crypto traders and investors, whom eagerly to invest in Grin coin months ago, in early of 2019.

How is hotbit for buying Grin?
Their orders ledgers on GRIN looks healthy, but their trade history is most likely fake (the smallest traded amount is about 150 GRIN and the average is about 400 GRIN per one trade). If for example you check Bittrex ( https://international.bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-GRIN) you'll notice many small trades of 2-5 GRIN, those could be miners selling or trading other mined coins for GRIN. If HotBit is faking their volumes, I wouldn't want to support them just because of that.

I dismissed this coin on the early phase and then i forgot or didn't even realize that this landed on the poloniex <3. But the marketcap right now makes me want to fomo in. But i'll try to keep my patience and wait my buy orders to hit.

All price talks are in Grin Observer - GRN/BTC - Price Movement and Discussion https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5102334.780But price is much higher then I expected it at this time. BTC price is higher then it was in May. Amazing!

Grin hashrate increased for more then three times in last three weeks. That is good news for the coin. Not so good for miners.

I'm a bit confused here, did the profitability fell dramatically just because of the low coin price or has ASIC miners started being used? But it seems c29 is less profitable that c31, however c31 is the ASIC friendly algorithm and c29 should't be more profitable with my GPU if ASICs are introduced.
So, how comes c29 is so much less profitable than c31 right now? What have I missed?

@Febo. Agreed, however the miners might be speculating something optimistic to occur hehehe.
@RivAngE. As Febo showed, the hashrate has increased 3x in the last 3 weeks. There might be more GPU mining farms transferring from other cryptocoins to Grin.

Which would seem weird, seeing how GRIN is not that profitable so why would they come over to GRIN? But the coins they come from might have been taken over by ASICs and FPGAs, so for whatever reason they're forced to stick with GRIN regardless of profitability. I guess they have "free" power...

No; it hasn't. See https://grinscan.net/charts for accurate graphrates.

GRIN - Bringing anonymity to transactions AND network hashrate until 2019! Maybe some charts are showing the hashrate of a specific pool and others the hashrate of the overall network?
