Step-by-step Guide to Bipoon.com

1. Create an account on Bipoon.com

2. Log in and you’ll see Web Application's Main Menu:

• Select “Create a bot”, enter your bot's name and press “Enter”. You can create as many bots as your like using different algos, pairs, etc.
• You need to select trading pair (currently there are 11: BTC, ETH, LTC, XMR, ZEC to USD and more...), algorithm, open and close position settings and trading mode (demo or live)
• In Dashboard you can see current signals and your bot’s current positions with P&L. When selected algorithm will generate a signal your bot will make a trade automatically

Safety: Safe API connection. Make sure to grant your API keys trading-only access. You can disable API withdrawal directly in your exchange account settings.

• Use keyboard in Web Application: arrow keys - for navigation, Esc - go back to previous window, Enter - select item
• You can manage all your bots directly at Bipoon.com. All your bots are up and running 24/7 on our server

Bot trading strategy, new feature & other Bipoon use cases

The first strategy we advise to try out is creating 2 bots (buy and sell) for the same trading pair. Say, you want to trade on ETH/USD market. Thus, you can create 1 buy-only and 1 sell-only bot for ETH/USD (based on the same algorithm) in order to profit from both upward/downward price movements. You can use “statistics” section in the main menu on our Website App to define optimal take profit & price offset or set them on your own.

Q: What should I do if one of my bots get stuck in paper-loss trade?

We’ve released new feature “join to bot” for this case: other bot gives profit from its trades to “stucked in loss” bot and, thus, improves its entry price. When the price will reach certain level the stucked bot will close position with positive P&L thanks to improved entry price by other bot. In the 2-bot strategy mentioned above you can join one bot to another and vice versa which will prevent in some cases from holding a position with unrealized loss for significant amount of time and increase the quantity of winning trades.

Q: How can I trade using Bipoon if I don’t have Kraken account?

You can sign up, go to Dashboard (see Web App Main Menu): you’ll see Signal feed where all of the current signals (buy and sell for 5 trading pairs generated by 3 different algorithms) are posted online. But we strongly advise to use them as entry signals and close trades by setting your own take profit. Blind following will lead to no good.

2 New features: AutoClose and tick-by-tick trailing stop


1. AutoClose
AutoClose is a way of exiting your bot position using our proprietary algorithm which determines the best market conditions to execute the trade.

Thus, Bipoon gives you 3 options to close bot position: by take profit, trailing stop and autoclose.
Assuming you have all 3 close options set and activated, a bot position will be closed when 1 out 3 of conditions (options) is met.

BUT! If you have 2 joint bots: 1 buy-only and 1 sell-only bot for the same trading pair (for more details, please see previous post on our exclusive "joint to bot" feature), the first one of them will close its position using AutoClose only!


2. Tick-by-tick trailing stop
If you have set this trailing stop for your bot and it has an opened trade then:
- if the price goes in "the green zone" by 1 tick, the trailing stop also moves by 1 tick in the same direction
- but if the price moves in the red one or opposite direction then this trailing stop will be activated when hit. Easy.

1. New major feature: Neural Network
NeuralNet creates your own algorithm using our proprietary neural network specifically designed for trading. When you create this type of algorithm neural net starts learning and, as a result, creates a unique type of algorithm which generates its own signals.

2. System core update
Now you are able to create your own algorithm by choosing trade symbol and one of our proprietary built-in algorithms.

3. New trading algorithm “Fluorum”
All 4 algos are based on our own chart patterns. Fluorum differs from 3 others in its ability to stay on the sidelines (BUY, SELL or having “popcorn time”). All 3 others are 100% of the time in the market (on BUY or SELL side).

• Clear “bot statistics” option. You can clear bot stat whenever you want; f.ex., if you changed considerably your bot’s parameters
• Signal Reverse. Bot will execute an entry in the opposite direction when receiving a signal. It could be very useful, especially if you have an optimized Neural Net which has a lot of loss trades.

Update:

We've re-engineered completely bot exit settings. Now you can set up "Bot Targets" which are as follows:
- "realized profit" you want your bot to reach and stop trading. It could be 5-10 or 20 trades. You never know.
- "realized loss" - max loss you can afford trading with this bot. It'll also stop trading when loss limit is hit. So, it's a bot overall loss trading limit (and not a limit for a given trade!)

Think of it this way: you are a commander and your bots are your soldiers. You have to manage them and set them goals. But not micro-manage..

How your "soldier" (your neural net bot) will reach the goal is up to him. Your responsibility is to train them (run a learning process), set goals and discard....and "recruit" new ones. It's an ongoing process.

• Order type option added. Now you can choose how you bot enters a trade: by MARKET or LIMIT order

How to manage your Neural Network-based bots:

1) Create an algo using Neural Net and start learning. Analyze back-test results and equity. If you don’t like it, re-learn your algo.
2) Set up a bot (on this algo) and its targets: realized overall profit and overall loss.
The idea is simple: manage your bot’s equity, not single trades! The way your bot is making trades is up to him. It’s a black box!

This is the very core and essence of Bipoon.

I've personally tested our new approach with "Bot targets". Here are results of 1st batch:

Bot#1 (buy&sell): +857 (47 trades). Decent equity.
Bot#2 (buy&sell): +107 (20 trades). But there was a considerable drawdown by -310.
Bot#3 (buy&sell): +2003!! (23 trades). The winner!!
Bot#4 (buy&sell): -419 (4 trades). Max loss is hit. Stopped trading.
Bot#5 (buy&sell): -554 (6 trades). Max loss is hit. The same.
Bot#6 (buy&sell): +1016 (46 trades). Hit target profit. And stopped.
Bot#7 (buy): +374 (20 trades). Still in the game.
Bot#8 (sell): -350 (11 trades). Kicked out.
Bot#9 (buy&sell): +476 (16 trades). Still trading...

Overall PnL: +3510

Not bad. But need to prove the consistency of this approach. Will see.

Profit is indicated in price change (f.ex. on 1 BTC) and aggregated (all the user's bots).
