Eastern Conference Finals Game 1. This is nice. It's not that far. Although I would prefer to bet on a heavy underdog.

New York Knicks - Indiana Pacers - New York Knicks (-3.5) @1.79 - I would not go as far as -4.5 as I don't know if the Pacers' strategy. They might use fast fast-paced game, and the Knicks will have a hard time with it. They are not a defensive team, so this will be a crucial play for the Pacers, but could be rewarding if done right.

Bummer for the Timberwolves. They pretty much surrendered at the end to lose by so much. They looked great in the first half but in the second half they looked exhausted out there. The Thunder and running them ragged. I still think the NBA doesn’t let the Thunder win this series, but after seeing game 1 the Timberwolves have an uphill battle.

I thought that it was going to be with the Timberwolves but I was wrong. Well, I've accepted that loss and probably skipping on the game later. I want to bet for the Pacers this time but I'll let the first game pass first.

Nah, I don’t think so. Remember when the Nuggets stole a game in OKC? And OKC still came out on top in that series. So even if OKC takes Game 2, it’s far from over unless the Wolves lose one at home, then yeah, they will be in the danger zone. Honestly, it’s still too early to be throwing out big predictions. Anything can happen as this conference finals, I'm expecting it will be an entertaining one, means not a short series.

Meanwhile, as for the games today I’m eyeing the over. I’ve got a feeling it’s gonna rain buckets.

Going for the opposite of your bet kabayan as i think that the Pacers would steal game 1. These teams are both unpredictable that the winner of this series is very hard to predict as of now.

The Pacers are one of the fastest playing team in the league and it's transition into their post season campaign as well, I think the New York Knicks would have to match up to that pace as well, it might all come down the FG% and how well both teams are able to find their rhythm offensively.

That said, I went with the first half total points only which is Over 104.5 points @ 1.65

I am looking forward to the Pacers in this series, as in the past, they've also taken five of the last eight games against the Knicks. This is an exciting match, especially since the Knicks' homecourt has cool fans.

The New York Knicks are starting to pull away from the Indiana Pacers right before the half. Karl Anthony Towns just capped off the run by hitting a fadeaway three pointer right in front of the Pacers bench and then patted one of the Pacers bench players on the chest before strutting back down the court.

Really an insane win. You got pretty lucky with this bet. Pacers were losing a lot the entire game and were able to comeback in the very end. What a crazy game and a big win for Pacers that Halibarton shot was just pure luck in the last second of the game and how it bounced back in.

Yeah that was a good win. Had to have been placed right when overtime started because they were 2.45x just for the ML and not handicap -2.5pts prematch.
I had them winning but under 218.5pts @4.60x but of course that lost going into overtime.

It’s a different story when they are against OKC with a good center that can put pressure to Gobert. Wolves manage to survive both GSW and Lakers because both team has no real center which they capitalized Gobert to dominate the paint and have a strong presence on rebounds for second chance opportunities.

OKC has Harternstein and Chet while Shai and Williams can rival Edwards and Randle in scoring spree.

Timberwolves needs to make SGA into foul trouble in able to make him out of focus in the game.

This could really depend on the officiating. I’ve seen a lot of clips lately where the refs seem to call fouls on the Wolves way too easily especially when SGA has the ball. Even the smallest contact, and it’s an automatic foul.

So I think Game 2 might be a bit different. But it’s not just SGA, Williams can also score and step up. If the Wolves can improve their 3-point shooting, they’ll have a much better chance of winning.

Just look at the 3-point shooting difference:

OKC: 11/21

Big difference in both attempts and efficiency.

I think I'm too emotionally invested in basketball to make good bets from here on out.  I really just don't want to see the Finals if it is the Indiana Pacers vs the Oklahoma City Thunder.  I'm sure I'm not alone either.  The NBA might have a serious problem on its hands.  I get that they want to push a younger generation of star and SGA just won the MVP, but let's be honest.  If the Pacers and the Thunder meet in the Finals, it will be the lowest rated NBA Finals in decades.  I'm not even kidding.  This is a legitimate problem.

We will never able to tell but these are the games that we're all excited about, and I have already bet for the OKC @ 1.32 as the game winner and that's the odd that I am saying that I'll take if ever the team is possible to win. Do not worry about the predictions that we're saying, this is normal for people like us that are fans and followers of this leagues. After that competitive first game, I'll roll with the Wolves spread. They almost had it if only they hadn't allowed OKC to stabilize and gain momentum in the second half.

I think OG might be right to some extent, the combination we already have could attribute to a low rated NBA finals, and it would be worse if any of the combination doesn't include the Knicks making the cut, although I'm not sure if there would any difference if it is the OKC Thunder or Wolves from the Western Conference.

Timberwolves struggle a lot with their shots, despite Randle shooting very well in the first half, I think Anthony Edwards is going to take matters into is hands early in this game. It's probably their only chance if they want to even the series tonight.
