I had my eyes on a couple of games today but decided to stick with just a single bet. My pick is the Nets ML at home v Wolves. I couldn't watch any pre-season games with Minnesota but i doubt anything has changed for them since last season/seasons. Immature stars, badly run organization etc. I can't see them upset Kyrie and co at home.

Brooklyn Nets @ 1.64 Winner (incl. overtime)

Seems crazy but I got 2 bets on Brooklyn Nets with -1.5 and -2.5. Last season Minnesota have good players but were wasted. Poor management in there. I hope they won't waste another superb talent in Karl-Anthony Towns.

Odd especially when Portland will be playing at their home court. But I do pick Denver to win on this one. I am expecting a more improved Jokic and his young team. This time Denver will probably focus on Jokic to shoot more.

I don't know why I can't see someone picking on Clippers over GSW. I think -2.5 @2.04 is a good bet? I am feeling this is going to be an easy win for Clippers.

This is a good pick as your first one of the new season. I also have them to win only because durant is there for moral support if only from the bench as this is where he was during the preseason of the games I watched of theirs.
The wolves were horrible during this time and just couldnt score. So I expect the very same during this debut night in brooklyn as well.

I am looking at the games today and I picked the Celtics vs sixers to cap.
The spread seems so high because the Celtics is also known as a good team, but I like this kind of spot since I am more confident betting the home team here. The line up of the Sixers is quite really big, but I am sure they've experiment it a lot and let's see if they really fit in with each other tonight.

With that said, I am putting my money with the Sixers at -6.

Also on it, -6 Sixers looks pretty unattractive as we are talking of a Celtics team here who are always competitive against the Sixers but they have downgraded their team this season, they lost Kyrie and Horford and for me that's a big loss.

Dallas Mavericks @1.2 Moneyline

Yes, low odds and this is not usual to me because those who are aware of my gambling activity, they know I love picking risky odds (of course only to those worth to put a shot). But because "that is Dallas Mavericks", I'm willing to take the risks for betting with low profit in return. Mavericks fan here since 2001, win or loss, trash or not.

To make up with that low profit in return, I have to adjust my bet to something "decent".

And not just that:
-Wizards aren't playing with a full healthy lineup
-Mavericks have a great winning stats in their season opener playing at home whoever their opponent is
-Dallas just needs to contain Bradley Beal and it will lessen the Wizards offensively power

Overall, still there's an upset but I believed they will take this one (the reason I avoid the handicap for Mavs for much better odds lol)

I don't really mind losing a bet but this was just pathetic. Nets reached new heights of choking last night, they literally had 4 chances to close out the game but they just couldn't. J.Allen missed two FTs in a row with 5 seconds on the clock (both teams didn't have any remaining timeouts). Prince got the offensive rebound on the second missed FT but got himself blocked by Towns and in OT Kyrie bricked what would have been the game-winning shot. Lol

Honestly, I consider Warriors ML but decided not to take it. Anyways, they will play their first season game at their new home venue (not the Oracle Arena anymore) so I guess they will go on a wild push for a win to somehow have a good first match history on that arena (they lose to Lakers here but that's just a pre-season game).

Before when Durant is still with the Warriors, anyone would take that point spread all day, now that its only curry who will have to generate most of the offense, people are already doubting if he can still do it. Actually there's a lot of curry stopper in this game since we've seen how impressive the clippers defense is, if they will put Beverly on curry, he might have an off night but actually warriors is worth a shot, so I will have to put a little so there will be no regret for me.
