For this game 1 of the New York and Cleveland series I went with the under instead of the decision on either team winning.
The Cavs had a short rest inbetween from their last series so I expect their starting lineup to be tired from that blowout they did to Detroit.
The spread as many have already mentioned is quite high so it might be the right call to go with that play for your bets.

Pretty sure you're safe on your bet. I'm likely screwed as the Knicks are letting them do whatever they want currently.

The game has ended and this is an ouchy lose for me. Just 0.5 lead for my bet with that handicap. Should have went for 11.5 then that match bet won for me.

With how crazy slow each possession can be in the playoffs, I sincerely can't believe the Cavaliers just blew a  22 points lead within the 4th Quarter alone, I knew there was no way they'd win in OT after that come back from the Knicks, the momentum shifted completely.

I'm glad that the New York Knicks were still able to cover the -6.5 spread in OT just for me to win my bet.

Didn't expect it to end that way with the Knicks being down 22 points at one point.
This game going into overtime stopped the possibility of that betslip hitting immediately.

Yeah never seen a team doing that in the playoffs before. Think they even mentioned it was the first time that both game 1 of each division ended in overtime.

I really thought I lost my bet there. I already gave up when I saw 7 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter, and there's still a 20-point lead by the Cavaliers. I was ready to turn off the television, and then suddenly Brunson energized everything. 
Better. The -6.5 was covered. Nice!

I do believe in adjustments. The Thunder may have lost even with Jalen Williams back but I think they are just surprised by the strength of the Spurs. They will probably get serious later, and with Jalen and SGA having a good offensive night.

I would not call it scary though, they are already good but having LeBron does not really change much because they still play with 5 players on the floor.

If the Cavaliers win the championship this season, then that is most likely going to happen because LeBron is still chasing another championship before he finally retires. But sorry man, I would just lower my expectation with LeBron already, especially with his impact on the team because the old days are gone now.

With the Cavaliers able to make the last match go to overtime is already insane. Now with my bet +6.5 for the Cavaliers, it's kinda safe. If the next match is a close match, I'm safe.

Not gonna lie, after watching the game 1 I got hyped by Wemby's performance I mean the whole Spurs team but Wemby really has the huge impact that's why even if it sounds greedy I do place bet on Spurs especially in the first quarter the score were tie (which was like the in the game 1). The play and match were great, a lot of 3's on both team great defense and offense but a lot of turnovers from Castle even from game 1 (he's good, don't get me wrong) if they can managed to limit their turnovers I think that would be a huge impact to the match.

if they can managed to limit their turnovers I think that would be a huge impact to the match.

They were successful in limiting Wemby, I think that was the big difference compared to Game 1. Though Wemby still finished with 21 points, his real impact only came in the last quarter.

There were some questionable non-calls in that game too, but I would not focus too much on that here because we might have different opinions about it. Going forward, I think this series will continue to be physical, and the Spurs also have to do a better job limiting SGA because he was the main reason for that big OKC win, of course Caruso also hit some big shots. By the way, did you notice that things changed when Harper went out? What happened to him, why didn’t he come back?

You are on a hot streak since Knicks manage to beat the Cavs with 16
points score advantage.

I thought Cavs will start to gain momentum on 4th quarter but they choke in the end missing a lot of crucial shot even an open shot while they have no defense to stop Knicks. Brunson doesn’t have a dominant performance but they have well balanced score contribution to beat the Cavs.

I like the San Antonio Spurs to cover the spread over the Oklahoma City Thunder tomorrow. Currently that sits at 1.5 points. With such a small spread, it doesn’t make much sense to just bet the win. I think we’ll see Fox return and the Thunder to be down a guard this game. That should make a difference.

@OgNasty - I don't know why, for me it's fishy. Feels like a trap or injuries will pile up. -1.5 only for the Spurs @1.88 Most of the time, they put the Spurs as a heavy favorite, but maybe it's because of the win of the OKC, which is why the sudden change happened.

I am going for the Spurs despite the doubts on the spreads. Here is my pick.

San Antonio Spurs - Oklahoma City Thunder - San Antonio Spurs (-3.5) @2.12 - I won't go too far as -4.5 or higher than that. That last minutes in Game 2 was a back-and-forth battle of offense, keeping the game close. It might happen again.
