Hello, dear forum members,

There are a lot of local board on our biggest crypto forum. And you now thousands of users are using these boards. For example, I am a member of the Turkish board.

We have a lot of rules actually in here. And it is hard to learn and know all of it. So we are watching a large number of a ban from the forum.

If admins let us and support us in a way, we can create a study group. And we may try to get all the rules to go together. And translate it to local boards. It would be great and useful.

Is it possible? If it is I volunteer for Turkish boards for example. Or anyone can be select from admins.

Every local board has the forum rules translated by the moderators and reputed members,so if someone is lazy to read them and getting banned means they are not going to add anything valuable to this forum so better keep as it is.

There is no strict list, but here is the the unofficial list of (official) bitcointalk.org rules

No, they are not too many as you can see, and if a membre don't bother spending few minutes reading it then he should not complain when he get banned.
To summarize:
- Never post copy-pasted/plagiarised content as it is the main reason for bans.
- No trolling, spamming, out of topic replies..
As there are no strict rules, whenever you intend to post something think of it as it was your forum and if you will accept when one of your membres posts it.

<...>
The rules have already been translated by forum members into many local board languages. The unofficial list of (official) bitcointalk.org rules has an entry for existing translations is the Special Thanks section, with 12 referenced translations. Turkish is not on the list, so I assume it has not been done. If you consider you are up to it, you could always contact the OP (mprep) just to make sure he is OK with it, and ask for the translated version to be referenced in his OP once made.

Translating the rules should not be a long task to do, and can be easily done in a day at most. There really is no need for a study group.
I've gone ahead and translated some relevant rule or guide related posts on my local board, with no need for constituting any group other than one for getting my meal ready whilst performing the translations. There aren’t that many rules really, and common sense just about covers them all.

Another question to consider is where the translation is actually placed. Ideally, it should be a sticky (in this case), and you could ask you moderator (EFS) if he will consider it fit there.

Edit: One thing I have noticed is that rule translations seem to not keep in sync overtime, so if the rule OP is modified, the translated versions do not always update. I’ve seen a few local translations out of sync, and for a specific example, my local board has not updated then since March 2017 (whilst @mprep’s  post has been updated). Since these translations are not forum owned, but tied to personal accounts, the will to keep them updated is obviously not enforceable.

In the circumstances on all local board there should have a translated pin post. And translation should be done from forum rule. Link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657
