https://medium.com/ampleforth/independent-currency-in-a-multi-chain-world-67032dce8296

Just read this article about where the Ampleforth protocol stands amongst the competition of other blockchains. I think its cool to see that they plan to deploy many chains on multiple platforms using cosmos or polkadot in the future. What are your thoughts? I think this might help reignite the doubt in crypto atm

It doesn't seem very possible in the current structure. Nowadays, every project is working with its main net work and the dream of building the Blockchain network. Even Binance is working for that. They want to create a blockchain network which belongs completely them.

I think it's impossible to make in real life. It would be a monopoly on the market. Governments from different countries won't allowed to do this. As for me, I don't think that it's a good idea to create main blockchain.

That's indeed and it looks a dream, whole of crypto already pegged with a coin that called bitcoin. Even they try to create hundreds of blockchain and if there was no demand and what they can do with it? nothing for sure.

Yes you are right the each and every project will made- everything more harder to overcome the good value in this situation so I think each and every currency has its own way and no one will need any other support to develop in this situation.

I think they mentioned they are planning to run many, not just one from what it looks like after reading it. they would just need some sort of hub which is what I believe cosmos is for

That's why we are lacking on the expansion and adoption side. There are too many cyptos, too many similar projects, too many main-nets and basically too many of everything. I think the that the current state of crypto wouldn't be here if we had only Bitcoin to rule them all, everyone working on it's network to improve it and create platforms from there (idk if that is theoretically possible).

Any news about blockchain is very welcome and pleasant, but I do not think there will be one that assimilates them all! Because if we think about it, the essence of blockchain is in all, it is easier to think that all blockchains are part of a single idea, whose idea is to blockchain! It is important to remember that there is a saturation of blockchain currently, will there be room for all? And yet this new one mentioned in the article, how will you handle those details?

this seems like one of those ideas that are very cool when you read about them, specially since it is in theoretical stage. but how it will really be like in action when it enters the real world remains to be seen. and by then it can go either way.
something like ethereum which initially was the best idea of that time and attracted a lot of attention but the implementation was horrible with lots of flaws and bugs and worst of all with centralization so it turned into a shitcoin even though it is still expensive.

Too many projects is the reason why we are lacking expansion and adoption? How so? Any study to back up this claim? From what I have read, it is the lack of education that is preventing people from coming into crypto.

Each coin need separate blockchain to work without any issues so I don't think one blockchain can be implemented with all the crypto currencies.
