Ethereum is about to take back number #2

We can see it in the coinmarket if ethereum again takes its position, the volume has increased and this has a positive impact.
Seeing this gives good trust in the future.

Ethereum is back on its former rank in the coinmarketcap formerly held by XRP last year. The hold of ethereum in the secind place might be strengthened if its upcoming forks boost its price further. More people seem to be buying ethereum these days because of its price uptrend in recent weeks and many considered it as a sign for more price appreciations in the coming days.

That's right, there is not much difference. Coins are different, therefore you can not call them competitors, except that competing with each other in the top list, no more. Of course, better 3rd place and a huge increase.

Ethereum has already taken its rightful 2nd place. This news about sharp and short-term decline from the pedestal why that disturbs people, and to me at all not to understand why. To surpass the Ether, any coin needs too much effort to win the trust of this market, to date, even XRP can not cope with this. Personally, I believe that the broadcast slipped to 3rd place very quickly, so for his 2nd place have yet to be overcome.

And i have thought that you didn't even understand about that. Ripple focused to build the blockchain for economic system which has focused to attract the bankers. Ethereum is much different than it that build a manufacture to be used by cryptocommunity. The only benefit if you can take a high place in CMC terms and the more demand will come.

Well, at the moment, ethereum do really regain its position at rank 2, Well, it deserve the spot as we know ethereum is really good and at the same time, give opportunities for other altcoins to enter the market as investment platform.

I am late to say you congrats but many many congrats for which you expected. Now, this is going alternate place, I mean XRP are going to take the place of ETH. We know XRP are making more strong than past. Maybe it could none beatable in near future for second place.

I disagree with the author's point of view. ETH is currently a very stable cryptocurrency. At the moment, we see a daily increase in the price of this coin. Soon I think ETH will take the top 1.

I understand that in terms of demand there is a difference between being on the 101th place and being on the 2nd place on CoinMarketCap. But I don't think that it matters for new investors whether the coin on the 2nd or on the 3rd place. It would matter only if XRP and ETH were serving the same purpose, but, as we all know, they are not. Btw, ETH, after losing 11.5% during the last 24h, was replaced by XRP which lost only 5.8% during the same period, but I still have no answer on how can that matter.

Ethereum is cooling down from an insane run in the past month. +100% in a bearmarket for a top 3 coin.. I still think it has room to grow also short term, as it simply was way oversold, but daytraders or wary bottom buyers are probably cashing out for now which in fact is only healthy considering it hasn't crashed back at all yet. Like BTC, it's basically maintaining a higher support level for now and could still break up (especially if BTC does).

It is true that the cryptocurrency market is unpredictable, but Ethereum's fall into the fourth or fifth position is absurd to me.
Ethereum hardfork will be in a moment, which will be a huge step not only for ETH, but for all altcoins. I'm sure that Ripple will not warm up the second place and Ethereum will be back there soon.

What could be the reason behind this, people here already know about the coming fork and it's your chance for free money, but hey it becomes a reverse people are dumping their Ethereum this means Eth is not secure anymore in the second spot, this is the second time it happens.
