To be honest with you all no good investor will want to invest in any commodity when the commodity is facing crises in terms of it market price, and just like bitcoin as a highly volatile commodity it price is always unpredictable and it takes courage for any one to invest in it during dips but if you can bear the risk the best time to buy bitcoin is when the price is down.

I have never been afraid of buying the bitcoin, just that I loss all my cash and bitcoin chasing some altcoins. I have come to realize that you either stay in bitcoin during a heavy bloodbath or you just remain in fiat. Some altcoins I invested in with the hope of selling to increasing my bitcoin got dump beyond recognition.

If you had the top altcoins than you need not to worry about it as market will move up then all such better altcoins will rise and you may infact easily get multiple returns quickly if those are under 70$ per coin . If you have bought worthless coin or pump and dump coin then I think you would be ending up in losses only .

If someone is afraid to take risks in any business or business then you cannot do it. Even though the price of bitcoin is low now I see it as an opportunity to invest in it because we have seen a similar crisis in previous years but in the end it was very noble. I really believe it won't collapse but will soon experience an upward trend.

If me i wouldn't buy more and hold rest of my coins. Because i don't know price will go down more or increase in future, bitcoin price for me is hard to predict and even people said price will increase, i will hold mine and not buy more.

But for those people, i do thinknthat what they are afraid of is that the crypto market is not yet on the good state like the past months of it. Yea, I can only name two-three reasons thy people fear cryptocurrency, 1st lack of knowledge (the subject is new to them), It's not legal tender in some countries e.g. US, and 3rd reason  crypto value is up and down and people want steady value just like with the gold.

Gold or property would not lose their value with time so easily. In other words they are more stable than cryptocurrencies in general terms. Its also a matter of legal risk from the buyer because if local rules are not lenient then they would be prosecuted for possession of cryptocurrencies. Then again even possessing gold or property is not out of risky anyway.

I would say a lot of things that grey out the area of simply done trades with crypto are the reason why they are still inducing fear in the minds of the people not that they are all weak in fundamentals.

Afraid of losing it's value while they are still holding it, people who have lack of information about this new industry will not take the risk since they are not willing to lose their money, only those who have good perceptions about the future of this investment will take the move investing to this business.

There must be some worry because the bitcoin market is very difficult to predict. even though at this time there is an increasing trend, but it is not impossible that the bitcoin price will decline. so this is a difficult thing to do, the digital currency market will always give us fear because of the uncertain market situation. that is such a huge assumption in your title alone. most people aren't afraid to buy bitcoin instead they are greedy about starting to buy it. they think if they wait they can get a lower price and as a result buy more of it but what they usually end up with is a missed opportunity and then are forced to buy it at a higher price.
of course there are small number of newbies who are actually scared because of the FUD.
