There was supposed to be an Ethereum hardfork which was later cancelled. I don't really think there was a concrete reason for the cancelling.

That's indeed, speculators are putting their money on the specific news about the result of development progress rather betting on the rumor but that's not 100% correct if you are seeing what was happening with bitcoin after the commissioner of SEC said ETF has a chance to be approved by regulators.

They were selling ethereum because they are waiting for a long time to see the price increase back. And now, they can see this is happening, so they decide to sell ethereum. I think right now is a good time to sell some portion if we were bought ethereum at the low price so we can get the profit. But if we buy ethereum at $100-$130, then I think you need to wait for another time to see the higher price so you can make a bigger profit.

i guess that will also depend on the news  . some news are not really attractive , some are also fake  .  so what if zcash will be listed on coinbase ? listing a certain coins does not really have an impact with the prices of other cryptos  .

buying on rumor and selling on news is a bad idea because rumors are not guarantee to happen . same as on news . 

id better follow my own instincs and i better do my own research because those can give me more accuracy , than depending on some unreal facts .

The growth of the ETH rate is more due to the increase in the value of BTC, it, like other altcoins, follows the main coin. ETH is waiting for the network update, not the hard fork, we will get improvements, but will not get a new coin. I don't really understand this approach, when you focus on news to make a decision about buying or selling a coin, it's not right.

If you are an active trader, then it is better to sell ETH now, while the price still allows, as the price may fall before hard forks. And if you have invested in long-term, then I see no reason to do anything, just store ETH further.
