Hey wasn't Technobit based out of Bulgaria? I wonder if any of those veteran scammers snuck out of the woodwork for this one.
THat was Martin, back in the day when he started, he was no scammer. Had 8 miners of him in 2014 and 2015, but at the end of 2015 he went down due to his own suc6, he could not handle it anymore. After that ppl just remember him as an scammer. But his miners where really good. Had 2 times a miner that broke down, he did send me a new one even b4 i did return the broken miners. NP at all.

Yeah no I mean they actually built miners for a while, but the "scammer" tag happened when he decided to take in a lot of business and then disappear without delivering. I know some people who got hosed to the tune of hundreds of miners.

sorry bud,at this point i feel it's only fair that I tag you so newbies won't fall for this, you are apparently shilling these scammers, (intentionally or unintentionally ) while we don't have a solid proof YET , it's safe to assume that someone who is selling something that is too good to be true is most likely a scammer. i will revise my decision once and IF the opposite is proven.

Not suspicious, everyone knows about the shared skills between lingerie designers and electrical engineers. /s
After those asics run out of their use maybe they DO become lingerie making materials.. who knows? lol On a serious note, someone should dox them and flash it so they don't get to even try and scam anyone else again.

So i placed and order for shitminer M80 at January - when the due date came in Marth - they send an email that there will be delay 30 days in delivery, then again when the due date came they send another email this time for 60 days delay. There is still some hope for June but until now - no miner. I guess if the miner exists at all they are now mining bitcoin with our money. Also the same amount in money invested in other miners in January is now doubled - so even if i get the miner - this was a big mistake or even some form of scam.

That sucks. It's an expensive lesson but you should have listened to the warnings and red flags that went up. If you didn't pay with crypto i would start trying to get your money back.

@vb2005 I don't know if I should feel sorry for you or not, since few months ago you questioned me, Phil, and others who have said from the very beginning that this is a obvious scam.
But yeah, it sucks.
You obviously had this thing people call 'Fear Of Missing Out', FOMO.
Never buy a miner from some manufacturer who is not proven to be legit.

@Vb2005
Everyone here tried to warn you, yet you went to the extent of defending those scammers when they were called out, i do feel sorry for your loss, the chances of you getting either the miner or your money are slim to nothing, i hope this serves as a lesson to you and everyone else who get to see this thread before losing their hard earned money.

After all the warnings I am shocked to see anyone actually went ahead with this.
The warnings were clear as day with this one.
People just don't learn in this space.

I was certain of it before I checked his post history, seems like the guy is pretty fast on trusting somebody just because they have a website and a bank account. He might not be a shill but still, the way he went in and ordered, although everybody here told him otherwise, is at least suspicious. I hope he has learned from it if indeed he wasn't part of it and just got scammed. Btw, their website site is getting "upgraded" for a few weeks right now.

Could you please explain to me how exactly i was part of the scam? After all the warnings I am shocked to see anyone actually went ahead with this.

I placed an order before i found this thread. When i placed and order there was no info anywhere about this miner or at least google found nothing. He might not be a shill but still, the way he went in and ordered, although everybody here told him otherwise, is at least suspicious. I hope he has learned from it if indeed he wasn't part of it and just got scammed.
There is nothing suspicious - i never advised anyone to buy the miner - i even wrote this in bold text 2 times.

Let's take of the tint most are looking at this guy with. Healthy skepticism is good, but I don't think at this point we should be shitting on this guy any further. I explained a long time ago my reasoning as to why they may just be an unfortunate bystander in this. I for one can understand being defensive if I just bought something then heard it may not be what it seems, frustration and distrust can easily follow. I will also point out that if this had been a quick attempt at a scam they are putting in a lot of effort for a worthless account/reputation (in terms of rank/merit/activity and trust). We've all made stupid mistakes before and this isn't the last case any of us will hear about someone buying vaporware. Whether it be before they see scam warnings, understand likely scams, or ignore warnings and get burned. This is all I'll say on the matter here, as this is all off-topic for the board. Here is the topic Mikeywith created when they decided to tag vb2005. I suggest all further discussion around them and their reputation take place there, or in a thread of their creation. - If one is made I will update the link.
