Before I go on,  let me use this opportunity to welcome members of this board to 2019, Happy new year.  In the first quarter of last year I let my emotions into my judgement. I got scared a little and sold about 20% of my bitcoin holding just to recover the capital loss.  Bought altcoins thinking it'll benefit me in the next bull run, recovering for my bitcoin lost.  That wasn't all, I even invest the captail I planned on using to buy more bitcoin into altcoins. As of writing 70% of that capital is gone in the bear altcoin market because I panic and sold.
That's very stupid of me right? Yes I know that's why I said it was my 2018 greatest mistake.
But I'm going to fix it, just as one of my 2019 goals stated
MY 2019 GOALS
  • To increase my asset portfolio to 90% bitcoin
I'm going all in (bitcoin) this time around, increasing my asset portfolio to 90% bitcoin knowing it'll be my second greatest decision followed by investing in bitcoin 2015. Hoping for the best in 2019. What were your regrets in 2018 and what did you learn from them?. Share with us so we can take some lesson from it.

Regrets is when I haven't pay attention to the articles I read on selling at ATH. Been seen much statements about a massive bear market comes along but been bullish-head thinking it will break the $20k mark.

The goal is be more of a trader than being a hodler, fiat is far from being dead at the moment. Own opinion though.  Grin

Happy New Year!

Last year was the toughest one for me. Imagine jumping out in the Bitcoin industry, gained profit and selling all the assets to run a traditional business? This is how a young one like me would do. I tried myself if I could survive in the traditional business and it was too far from the industry I was within. Well it is the thing we call ^life. We have to make mistakes and learn from it. Develop and improve fight till you make it and win and win.

Happy New Year guys! I hope we will all make it this year!

Happy New Year!

I can not tell you how to invest your money, but one thing  for sure is that when the bull run comes 'if ever' Alts will have better reward than BTC, simply due to their smaller market cap.

with that being said, great reward always carry great risk. so be careful.

Oh, I think that would be a tough one but I believe that nothing is impossible. Let's just hope that the bull will come finally this 2019 and for sure everything is gonna be okay Smiley.

That was a great decision, I'm glad that you will now stop chasing alts which you don't know if will have a secured future or not. Considering eth is a good move too but if you really want to avoid any kind of alts this time then that's fine.
