Can you add a feature to disable the automatic synchronization of electrum? I already have a lot of transactions. Mostly because of cloud mining services. The problem is that electrum is synchronizing every minute or so. And with this amount of transactions it means even my good computer is working hard for a half minute. And i can't do anything with electrum in that time. Then i have a couple seconds time to do something and then it starts again. On top it sets back all the lists, so collecting data about certain transactions is hard.

I would like to disable the synchronisation because it really became a problem now. Or at least the possibility to set the time after electrum is synchronising again.

What is the problem can be? I try open as normally, try open run as administrator and still nothing happen.

I try to create new wallet and have that no seed

I enter create new wallet. Not restore.

I think instead of the function create new wallet activated function restore.

My beta wallet is stuck in "Synchronizing". Any idea?? I already restarted it and tried to use different servers.

If I wanted to create a bitcoind RPC GUI frontend for local use instead of the Qt-GUI would it be a reasonable approach to fork Electrum? Has anyone already tried to do that?

I searched on Google and here on forum, but nothing fixes the problem.
Do you know how to fix this?

After having around 1200 transactions ans 310 addresses in an electrum wallet it gets really unuseable even on my relatively good 8 core computer. No way around than creating a new wallet and change all address settings on websites and so on. If you notice things become very slow then better move on to the next wallet since now i have the problem to get the coins out when electrum doesnt give me even the time to do so. It constantly is calculating something. When im lucky i find a short timeframe in between to set up a transaction.

Either python? is too slow or the code for python is not optimized.
