I would like to make an intelligent guess. I'm guessing the first country ETHA remittance solution will focus on is India. And India you know is the largest recipient of dollar remittances in the world.

500 million tokens are for sale. But there is no indication of a token sale yet. Maybe they are still waiting for the crypto markets to turn around. In this bearish climate, I doubt they can raise any meaningful amount of funds.

Yes, of course most remittance projects have the same goal and some have the same whitepaper/plan to achieve it. The main difference with this one is I think it will focus on Indian remittance. Not sure though.

Yes, there are a number of projects that want to provide a similar service. However, almost all of these projects are stuck in the way of implementation. Here the same thing can happen. Although, this is not known, and the team can make decisions using knowledge of mistakes. We'll see. The idea is quite good and can be popular.

Another problem it seems that the dev team has not spent any time here in this thread. How on earth will they be able to raise funds from brave Bitcointalk members if this thread is lost among the many others?

Implementation is the problem in most ICO which has the project of being a good merchant or company.
Well as long as they develop well the project and the implementation will follow.
If any Company or ICO team has a good implementation plan though their product/project is not good or can compete in the community of business then there is no use.
FIRST, you should have a strong and good project to start with!
