If you are addicted in gambling then it is very difficult to quit, but not impossible. If there is a will, there is a way. You have to be very serious in your approach then you can definitely do it.

Good, many addicted individuals in gambling today are not willing to give-up their passion on gambling, and thereby making it be difficult for them to totally quit after addicted. There's always ways to exit from the world of gambling, if there's self will from the person in question. Some of my friends quit gambling long ago and it wasn't heard for their exit.

Just to mention, quitting something that you are addicted to is NEVER EASY especially if it becomes part of your daily routine. Despite that, I do agree on the points you provided in order to help someone quit there addiction in general.

Everything starts in the mind. If you have the will, patience, determination, and motivation to quit your addiction then that would be the first step. Further steps would involve applying external factors (i.e. doing recreational activities, doing things that distracts you, etc.) but the internal mindset is the most difficult to perform.

I would also suggest that you also need someone to rely on if you are struggling to quit your addiction. If you have family that needs your support or someone you love who is willing to help you with your situation, let them be your primary motivation and inspiration to make this leap out of your misery.

Have the power of willingness and you can quit even you are an addicted gambler.

If they are addicted to it, you need to seek professional help. This forum might give tips and ways to stop or prevent someone from gambling but addiction is not that easy to stop and the best way you can help that addicted gambler is by seeking the help of a professional and that starts with the soldier accepting the fact that they are addicted to gambling and wants to stop because if they are still not conscious that they are addicted to it, that would be a hard process.

Everyone will know it but they will use their emotional when they are playing gambling. I haven't felt when I play gambling it's just a hobby or anything else, but I'll do my best to get what I want. I had my strategy when I play gambling I brought money that I can afford to lose and I will never try to deposit again when I lose my money in the same day. So, I can manage my lose and I never fall to a huge lose that can make me crazy.

No, I don't think so. I am sure some people can get rich from gambling, but the point is they don't tell other people about their winning in the gambling. They keep silent and enjoy their money without show off what they can win. I am sure they are now having fun and spend the money on their life and their family and their friends. But yes, if you want to quit gambling, you need to have positive things to do to change your mind from thinking about gambling.

No, I don't think so. I am sure some people can get rich from gambling, but the point is they don't tell other people about their winning in the gambling.

That's probably the right attitude of a successful gambler, they work their own, so they can enjoy the success solely.
People will think you are smart and a cool person if you can make a fortune in gambling as that is really hard to achieved, but these winners have discipline, so they know what is appropriate.

You're definitely wrong when you said many gamblers know how to quit because the spirit which involved in gambling addiction works exactly like alcohol addiction cause they usually feel that some part of them is not completed whenever they haven't gambling for the day. However, the tips mentioned by OP cant work for all gambling addictors.

You can still quite even if you are addicted as the are many addiction remedies online for free and you can just help yourself by just used Google. However, remember that it is better to avoid gambling in it entire than be addicted to it and at the end go bankruptcy! Many are in debt today because of bad habits and how compulsive they are living.

Well, that is a good idea. But how can you learn your mistakes if you don't know where you had mistaken on gambling. Indeed, all of these will depend on your self how you discipline. Taking revenge is good but for sure it is also called chasing your losses. 2-3 times attempts of revenge will considerable but more than by that I think that is not good.

Actually, in gambling everyone can become addicted very easily, it is on ourself that we have control ourself or not. People play gambling to become rich, Everyone like to become rich so why we choose only gambling, most of the other ways are here to become rich and in the other path, we could save ourself from addiction. If this point is clear in our mind then we can't be addicted even we play gambling.
