Be very wary of relying on JavaScript for security on crypto sites. The site can change the JavaScript at any time unless you take unusual precautions, and browsers are not generally known for their airtight security.

Depends on what you want to do. If I were you, I would make a hardware wallet by buying a Trezor. You can make some other safe wallets like Blockchain.info etc

You can check out my YouTube video where I discuss different wallets: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_e9zKlqngA&t=0s

Hardware wallets are the best choice. And if you want the safest, Ledger and Trezor are the best for me. Also, you can check this link : https://bitcoin.org/en/secure-your-wallet#online

Where is the safest way to create a bitcoin wallet?
In a trading site. It's safe because they have anothwr layer of security which are more likely 2fa authenticator or sms message which is impossible to break if you're very careful with your actions.

The only fully safe wallet is sending your coins to your bitcoin wallet on your computer and writing down your private key and putting it somewhere safe, then taking the wallet offline. Otherwise, people use services like coinbase.com, electrum, or some even choose to keep them on reputable exchanges like poloniex, bittrex, or other respectable exchanges. Some people even buy physical wallets like trezor.

I didn't know that they are using it. I though it's just for email security.

A lot of exchanges are using that. That's why cryptocurrency trading is safer that other platforms which uses fiat money. Aside from the security, cryptocurrency trading gives more freedom on your trading like arbitration, and etc.without charging you with taxes.

But if trading sites are hacked, you lose access to your funds. Because you still don't own the private keys.

I can suggest a simple way to create a bitcoin wallet. If you already have an android phone, you can download mycelium and then installed. After it's finished, you need to save 12 keyphrase in one place which only you will know. And then you can create one wallet to save your bitcoin. After you see there is one account in your wallet, you can then send the bitcoin from another wallet to your new wallet in your android phone.

That is a very simple process, and you don't have to worry or afraid for anything except if your android phone is lost or get stolen in somewhere.

Yeah just because a site has 2fa or things like that doesn't make them invulnerable to attacks. High multilayer security on the exchange wallet end helps, they do this by keeping the majority of their coinsupply in a cold or "offline" wallet. Only bringing enough coins online to process the withdrawal requests as needed.
