Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

@thekidcoin

Another thing, as you probably noticed, several coins are dropping the bonus blocks, because multipools are abusing the system to mine only blocks with a high reward.
I think you should update FLT to at least minimize the differential between max and min reward for blocks.
1000 - 10000 is a lot of variance, and will be abused (if it isn't already).

1 % Fee, PROP Payout

https://flt.qemulab.com

Dedicated Server only for Fluttercoin.
Located in Datacenter in EU with multiple Upstream Provider and very low latency.

Normally we only do P2Pools but since this is no Option with this Coin we decided to go the MPOS Route.
If you look at the Stats you will see this Pool already ran in the "dark" for a while. We can assure everything is properly Setup and working!

So if you like the Coin as much as we do consider joining us.
The Fee is set to a fair amount and you minimize the chance of a fork happening!

hey i just want to say if we push for another exchange to add fluttercoin, i'd like to see swisscex.com get some love. it's a great trading platform, just a little low on the volume. but i prefer it way more than cryptsy and a little more than mintpal

I think it's happening now to more coins, another one of my spec coins (I hope it pays off like FLT did!) is experiencing the same thing with rounds going into the multiple hundreds of completion % even at very low diffs.

I don't think this is a forking thing, cloudminer has a pretty big hash rate too (where I am mining)... the coin just keeps getting stuck...

I picture the Kid having to sit near the coin and giving it a kick every now and then to get going again....

well, one way to be sure, is if people stopped piling up on bitember and spread the hashes evenly...then we could eliminate if it's a problem with concentrated hash on a single pool

There is no fork. Bitember has the same stats then all other Pools.

Dropping Diff seems normal after this Blockchain Stales.

i was just kind of talking shit, i don't know if it's a coin hopping multipool that caused the quick rise and fall of the nethashrate. it could have been a few large solo mining operations, could have just been a coincidence. i don't actually know, but it's so easy to blame the coin hopping pools  Grin
