what happens to coins in my wallet right now after the fork occurs?
always make sure you have a backup copy(s) (and a copy off your machine is best) of wallet.dat, but your coins are still there...

You shouldn't have to do anything but update.

The pool over at http://flutter.miningwith.us is currently being updated to the new client, should be good in a few minutes.

FYI building the binaries is a long process.  Will have them soon.  Building linux 1st just in case pools don't build their own.

Then I sign them with gitian, then I sign them for regular download.

ETA for all within 40 minutes.

looks like i was right about miningwith.us not mining any blocks, they finally hit one, but almost 200 block were mined on the network between them.

i see it's the first pool to update though, hopefully that gets them back on track. hopefully the other pools know about it in time.

Updated code now available - binaries coming within the hour - if you have a pool please update - we are forking at block 12400  - short notice but we can't go on like this:

https://github.com/thekidcoin/fluttercoin/tree/v0.4.5.2-flt

is this for pool operators only? the rest of us just need to update our wallet right?

also, addresses will still work the same right, no need to generate new ones or anything, correct?

yeah binaries aren't ready yet will post them when ready... Make sure (always) that you backup wallet.dat someplace, but you don't have to do anything except upgrade the wallet.

All coins, addresses etc will remain as is.

I think they got coins that were displaying as orphans, but not true orphans, just displaying incorrectly on front end. I might be wrong tho

so basically it's fine to mine on flutter.miningwith.us, flt.cloudminers.net, and flt.crunchharder.net ? so if u mine on any other pool right now you risk not getting your coins since other pools might have the old wallet? and of course we have to update our own personal wallets the version is 0.4.5.2?  alright i'm heading to bed, hopefully when i wake up this fork will have gone smooth, and the entire world will adopt it, and it will be on the homepage of google, as their new currency all in a 24 hour span. sweet!
