Bad news to start this year, there are still many ways of fraud. And one of them is what you tell here. I did not participate in or invest in NEXO, but this is the news which certainly makes investors more afraid and worried about entering crypto investments. I don't know how long the scam paradigm will continue and worsen the atmosphere. Honestly I'm concerned about reading the news that you shared here, but I also want to thank you for this information. Of course it will be useful.

It's placed on 80th place in CMC. It looks over rated platform for me if based on your opinion about scam allegation to the nexo. A lot of dumb speculators must think for a twice before they can determine which is platform that really worth to invest. NEXO will be the next scam.

To be honest, I think it's more likely that a Bitcointalk user with a trust rating of -4 is either at it, or made a mistake, than Nexo is scamming people.

Of course it's possible that Nexo would / could scam, but they've lent out tens or hundreds of millions of dollars against crypto collateral, and so far I've heard of zero users losing collateral, except through liquidation.

I've personally taken out multiple loans with them against my own crypto, and have never had collateral go missing & they have provided a slick service.

I've been following their telegram chat, reddit, and tweets since they began, and this is the first I've heard of a problem like yours.

They have a very slick platform that can provide instant loans in all kinds of fiat currencies to countries around the world... if they've really managed to build such a slick platform and global payment / banking partnerships to just run a scam, I'd be amazed... though it wouldn't be unheard of.

So, I'll be very suspicious of your fraud / scam claim unless you can provide some proof & the issue isn't resolved after a decent amount of time. If a bunch more reports come in that deposits are going missing, I may start to worry, though I think that's quite unlikely.

In 2018 there were a lot of scam projects. I think that we all need to create a special huge website where we all will analyze projects if we have doubts and thus we will check them for fraudulent activities.

Thanks for the warning pal. Their site is somehow really nice in terms of UI so they are really somehow too tempting but deceiving.This is a great help for us and other investors who doesn’t know yet about this site.

If it's a legit concern, thanks for sharing, I just think there's a lot of reason to think Nexo isn't a scam, and it's more likely that you are mistaken in calling Nexo a scam.

If there's a problem, hopefully their support will step up & fix it, but as I said, I've been monitoring lots of communication about Nexo and haven't heard of this issue.

So, sorry if you're having problems, but labelling them a scam is wrong until substantiated.

You were right in 2018 there were too many scams that had hurt many people, and made investors afraid to invest. It seems that this is a very good idea to be realized in 2019, so that no further fraud occurs. And at least minimize fraud projects, the question is who will operate the website?
